Specs:
This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire in a Load Range D. Now, this is an ST Tire, which stands for Special Trailer Tire. Has a sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads, and it is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on other vehicles. It is a Kenda Special Trailer Radial Tire.
Has the double steel belts, and the full nylon plies, which are combined for superior function and long life. They do use a silica-infused tread, and if you look on the tread blocks, they have some openings or cuts in 'em. Those are sipes that'll help reduce hydroplaning. Gives you excellent handling in off-pavement situations. It is an ST tire, so it does meet the the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications.
Now, this tire will fit on a wheel size of 15 inches by five inches, 15 by 5 1/5, 15 by six, and 15 by 6 1/2. Now, on a trailer tire, you should always go mount it onto the narrowest wheel that's available. The tire size, which will be stamped on the side wall, ST for Special Trailer, 205/75R15. R means it's a radial tire. Section width on this tire is eight inches.
Overall diameter when this is inflated, it's gonna be 27.3. This tire is in a Load Range D, which means it's an eight-ply rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 2,200 pounds at 65 PSI. And the last thing I do wanna mention, all the trailer tires now are coming through with a speed rating stamped on them, and the speed rating is on the sidewall in a letter designation. And where you'll find it is right after the tire size we just went over, there's two numbers for the load index, and then the letter M.
Speed rating M will mean this has an 81 mile per hour speed rating. But that's gonna do it for our look at this Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire in a Load Range D.
The order came in quick even with the slowest shipping option, tires were in good condition. I hope to install the tires soon and will give a review after a year of running the tire.
The ST185 greatly improved my boat trailer. Had ST175 on there before. Better stability when pulling.
