The tire on this assembly has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 load range C radial trailer tire with 14 inch aluminum wheel with a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. This tire and wheel assembly is gonna be great for boat trailers, stock trailers, utility trailers and campers. This special trailer tire or ST tire has sturdy sidewalls so it can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers and not intended for use on other vehicles.
As you know, radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway, and this radial tire is constructed with double steel belts and full nylon ply that are gonna combine for superior function and long tire life. The computer generated tread design and premium rubber compound materials are gonna give you superior traction in wet or dry conditions. Now, as I mentioned and as we have stamped on our tire, this is an SST205/75R14 The section width of this tire is eight inches and the outer diameter is 26.3 inches. This is a load range C, meaning it has a six-ply rating, and the maximum load is 1,925 pounds. It's 60 PSI.
When this has a speed rating of M, indicating the maximum speed of 81 miles per hour. This matte black aluminum wheel is durable, lightweight and rust proof. As you can see, it features this open spoke design, so that's pretty unique and appealing. And the clear coat finish on the front, and on the back, is going to protect this wheel from scuffs and scratches. The diameter of this wheel measuring bead seat to bead seat is 14 inches and the width is five and a half inches.
And our bolt pattern is five on four and a half inches. And in case you don't know, the first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes, but then the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So, to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here, you're simply going to measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. The wheel capacity is 2,200 pounds. The wheel stud size is a half an inch by 20, the center cap is sold separately, but if you pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits a pilot diameter of 3.19 inches.
Now, this tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications, and I think that's going to wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

It was great! I am sill waiting on my fenders.
Nice wheels, fast delivery!
Nice
Swapped out the steelies and low speed tires the trailer came with for the lighter aluminum wheels with higher speed tires. They tow great behind the sidecar and look a treat.
The description and videos made it really easy to trust what you were purchasing. Shipping was free and arrived in good order. The wheels are much nicer than I even anticipated. These were purchased not only for the tires, but also an upgraded from the stock wheels on my boat trailer.
Very good customer service. The tires and mounting was spot on. Only small complaint would be the center cup insert does not lock in place. It will flop around a small amount. Easy solution is to put a small amount of clear silicone adhesive around the the cup and press the cup in place. Otherwise so far zero issues and the tires appear to be wearing well and have good side traction for our heavy 5th wheel in the rain. Highly recommend this combo. They look great on an older trailer.
A little disappointed with the delivery as the tires were delivered by USPS 1 day late but not the end of the world. Overall very pleased with the initial look of the wheels however very disappointed with the age of the tires from week 25 of 2022 versus it currently being June of 2024 meaning of the 5 year manufacturer warranty advertised on e-trailer I only get 3 years as the manufacturer warranty as the date goes from the DOT date stamped on the tire. Only 64 percent of the warranty is still left... I understand the tires being 6 months or even as much as a year old but nearly 2 years old is excessive.
Really happy with my tire/wheel package upgrade. Replaced the factory grey spokes and tires from 2007 when the original tires finally failed. The wheels were covered in rust from the salt up here. Only towed the trailer about 100 miles since the install but it tows soooooo smooth and looks pretty dang good.
I inadvertently stepped up an inch in tire size when I got the 15” wheels up from the factory 14” because “I know what I’m doing” but the clearance doesn’t seem to be an issue thankfully.
I thought it was just a bigger wheel. Lol
Wheels/tires set are as advertised and shipped in reasonable time. Good quality.
This fit very well and nicely costumer from Maxx trailer repair in Cabazon ca was very happy here is some photos of the boat trailer
Just received 2 of them today and they look great especially for the price. They should be a nice upgrade to the factory rims and tires on my double jetski trailer
Had a delay on receiving the right order, pulled wrong in shipping. I called e-trailer that afternoon and found a fantastic customer service rep named Virginia answering the phone. She handled the mix up with ease, placed a correct order while I was on the phone with her, and I received the tires/wheel combo within a few days. Mix ups happen in this ol world but it's the undervalued customer service reps who make a bad situation pleasant with outstanding old fashioned customer service! Thank you, Virginia & e-trailer for your service. The product quality? Aluminum upgrade wheels with Kendra 8 ply radials scheduled for our vessel later this week will surely add piece of mind on our travels to the coast with a little style to boot. Respectfully, Clayton ...Lake Wales, Florida
Tires have lasted well. Wheel is excellent quality and thick aluminum. I bought them for weight savings but later found that they only spec out at like 1/3 of arrival pound lighter than steel, so I'd rather have saved the money and been able to use hammer on wheel weights with steel wheels, BUT they do look great and are straight.
Perfect fit, nice look and seem more durable than the original wheels/tires that came with trailer. I like that is a slightly better PSI capacity. Wife said, "the trailer doesn't look as cheap as before" I put about 75 miles on them for the first trip and they performed great.
E-Trailer made it all right for me. I was frustrated when I first ordered as I’ve never dealt with delays. And needing some tires , of course they sold them and didn’t have them in stock. But they were quick to restock and get them to me. One set was the wrong wheel size. Wouldn’t fit. Not sure how that happened. But they immediately got it right for me. Thanks again. I’ll continue to support this company for many years to come
I upgraded my 15’ jon boat trailer wheels to these radial load range D, replacing the bias ply load range B. I couldn’t be more pleased, not only do they look great, but with the extra weight I put in the boat I have peace of mind knowing it’s rolling on better rubber. I also ordered a spare tire mount and now have.a spare using one of the original tires.
