This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda 690/6x9 bias trailer tire in a load range C on this nine inch white solid center steel wheel with the 5 on 4.5 inch bolt pattern. Now this is a bias trailer tire by Kenda. It's great for off-road and agricultural use. Provides superior stability and a reduced rolling resistance for a nice smooth ride. The wheel it's mounted on is a solid center steel wheel.
Resists rust and corrosion. Has a white powder coat finish over a new coat primer. And this tire wheel assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications. The diameter on the wheel, it's gonna be nine inches. The width on just the wheel by itself is four inches wide.
Now this wheel does have a bulk pattern of 5 on 4.5 inches. And if you want to measure that on a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs, like in this case, five. What you can do is pick any hole, say this hole, and then you measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to. So on this one it'll measure 4.5 inches, so that means it's a 5 lug, 4.5 inch bolt pattern.
Does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. The pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center of the wheel, that's 2 and 3/4 inches. Weight capacity on just the wheel by itself is 1,120 pounds. The tire size we mentioned, it's stamped on the sidewall, it's gonna be 6.90/6x9. So it's a nine inch diameter wheel it fits on.
Section width on this, 6.5 inches. Overall diameter, the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 21.1 inches, and the tire is a load range C, which means it's a six ply rated tire. So it does have a maximum load capacity of 1,298 pounds at 60 PSI. And this tire does have a speed rating on it. It has a 62 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on the Kenda 690/6x9 bias trailer tire in a load range C on a nine inch white solid center steel wheel.
