The Dual Angle lets you transport 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards on your vehicle with either factory fixed mounting points or rails with fixed mounting points. It installs with a custom fit kit (sold separately) - no base rack needed. The telescoping dual carrier adjusts to the width of your roof, and it allows for easy loading from both sides of the vehicle. The Dual Angle can be tilted up with integrated levers to accommodate tall bindings. It features large buttons for easy opening, soft padding to protect your gear, and locks to keep your cargo safe.
The carrier has telescoping dual cradles that can be adjusted to accommodate the distance between your door jambs. To adjust, simply loosen the bolts on the bottom of the carrier, slide the cradle in or out to achieve the proper width, and tighten the bolts with the included Allen wrench until the spring washers are flattened.
The carrier can accommodate vehicles with up to 46-3/4" of space between the fixed mounting points.
The Dual Angle cradles are easy to open and load even while wearing gloves. Just unlock the cradles, push the large buttons, and lift the arms.
The telescoping cradles are easy to access and load from the driver's and passenger's side of your vehicle. To load, simply slide your skis or snowboards into the cradles with the rear end of the ski or snowboard facing the front of the vehicle. Both bindings should sit between the cradles.
You can adjust the carrier angle for easier loading or to accommodate tall bindings. Simply pull the lever and lift the carrier until it clicks into place. To lower, pull out the lever and slowly lower the carrier until you hear the click.
Soft padding on the insides of the arms gently cradles your cargo. The pads also protect your gear from scratches and scuffs during transport.
The Dual Angle is designed to install on a vehicle with factory fixed mounting points. The carrier requires a custom fit kit for installation (sold separately). To install, bolt the plates included in your fit kit to your vehicle's fixed mounting points to provide attachment points for the carrier. Then bolt the carrier to the plates to secure it to the vehicle. The rear carrier should be installed at a distance of 27-5/8" to 39-3/8" from the front carrier.
Rubber seals are included to cover the exposed portions of the channels on the bottoms of the carriers. Trim the seals to the required length, and insert them into the channels to help reduce wind noise.
The Dual Angle includes 4 lock cores that secure your equipment to the carrier. The covers also secure the carrier to the vehicle by denying access to the mounting hardware.
The ski and snowboard carrier requires a fit kit (sold separately) to install on your vehicle. Please consult the chart to find the correct fit kit.
