Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Hopkins Plugin 4-Way Flat to a 7 Blade Trailer Connector Adapter. Now basically what this adapter will allow you to do, it'll allow you to use your existing 4-way flat wiring harness that might be on your vehicle with a 7-way plug that'll be on the trailer. So this is great for if you borrow a trailer and it has a 7-way on it, and then you'd have a 4-way on your vehicle. Instead of worrying about how you're gonna make your connection, if you have this adapter, you'll just plug this into the 4-way on your vehicle, open this up, plug your 7-way right in there. Now this will give you all the trailers, the tail light functions that you're gonna need to be legal when towing the trailer.
It'll give you the left and right turn signal, the brakes, the tail, and the running lights. Now, one thing I do wanna mention, even though you plug your 7-way into here, it will not give you the electric brake or auxiliary power functions of a 7-way. It's only gonna give you the 4-way functions. But that should do it for a look at this Hopkins Plugin 4-Way Flat to 7 Blade Trailer Connector Adapter.

So I can’t get electric brakes or aux power (which I don’t need it it’s empty) but I get all the lights. My only complaint is that the 4 pole wire could be longer, which is why I give it 4 stars.
