Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Hollywood Racks Small Wheel Hoop Adapter. This is going to attach to the back of your Hollywood Racks Universal Wheel Holder or the older style Fat Tire Wheel Holders. It's going to shorten that opening for that rear tire so that it will work with your 20-inch diameter wheels that you often get on smaller bikes, but it is designed specifically to work with the Rad Power Bike models, the RadRunner, RadMini, and RadMini Step-Thru, but it will also work with other a 20-inch diameter wheels as well. So if you have either the Hollywood Racks Universal Holder on there or the Fat Tire Wheel Holder, this will help to shorten that down so that your rear wheel will sit in there like it's supposed to, rather than falling through that rear hoop opening for your rear tire.Now, this is just going to come with the one bracket, but you will only need one for each bike.
You're not going to need one for the front wheel, just the rear wheel that will help push the bike forward enough to use that front bracket correctly. So if you have more than one 20-inch wheel bike, you will need multiple brackets, but just one per bike. You will have to remove this if you are wanting to use that bike mount for any bikes that have a 24 inch or larger diameter tire because obviously with the shorter opening there, those bikes won't fit on properly anymore. So you'll have to remove this in order to use those larger tires. But if you do have a 20-inch wheel, this is going to shorten that down so that it will ride properly.
This is constructed of a rust resistant black powder coated steel construction. So it's going to be very durable.All the hardware to get this installed is included. Even include an Allen wrench here to tighten that hardware down in place. Very easy to get this installed. You'll just take the hardware out, put the bottom piece on, put the top piece over top of the hoop bars and then install all your hardware and you'll be ready to go.
This does come with a limited lifetime warranty, so if you we're to have any problems with it, you could give us a call, we'd be happy to help you out with that. We always want to make sure that our customers are having a good experience and getting good quality products and I think this is going to be a great option for those of you who have those smaller tired bikes and you're wanting to take them along on your Hollywood racks. Quality part, exactly what I neededThese e-trailer guys have so many parts and are super helpful with any questions. Their teaching videos are a gift as well.
I am not sure what bike rack that adapter was suppose to fit. It listed a 5” hoop but nothing about this adapter is 5”. The description said it was to be used on a fat tire rack so a 20” tire could be carried to protect the derailer on the smaller tire. One of the reviews said that his KAC rack was a nock off of a Hollywood rack and he made it work. My opening is 5” inside edge to inside edge. So it was useless to me. I think you had get a better description in your advertising so as to reduce confusion.
This is a great adapter if you have a bike with 20" tires. The RV Rider rack I ordered also had these included in the box so don't need to order these in addition.
Just like the RV fat tire bike rack from Hollywood Racks that this was used on, this is a well constructed & solid accessory. Worked as described.

Sucks you need this, but if you have a 20inch bike, saves the derailleur.
This is exactly what I was looking for, this item is an exact fit on my Hollywood bike rack. While I don’t have a pic of this new adapter on my bike rack, I’ll get bikes mounted here soon and will update this with review with photo’s as well. Thank you E-Trailer for providing this item as the e-bikes are becoming so popular.

I bought these wide tire wheel brackets with the wheel spacer a year ago and they have performed perfectly. Great products and they work as designed.
Works perfectly with my ebike with 20” wheels. It keeps my gears from rubbing on the cradle.
Makes using 4x20 tires work great on the Hollywood bike rack. I've actually been involved in two friends using the same system for their ebikes.
It's amazing I think it might b the best built, strongest, and sturdiest rack ever made, with no wobble. Truly solid. I plan on using it on my truck and my RV. I'm glad it included the arm extenders as I need them. I also purchased the Small Wheel Hoop Adapter for Hollywood Racks Universal Wheel Holders for our 20" wheels. Worked perfectly. The instructions were very nice as well and easy to read and understand.
Great experience ordering this part from etrailer. etrsiler kept me informed of the status of my order from the beginning to delivery. Part works perfect on my Hollywood ebike rack for my Lectric 2.0.
Adapter works perfectly for 20” wheel and resolves issue with bike derailleur hitting bike rack frame.
The product itself is well made. The problem I had is that it did not fit. The caveat is that I put it on a KAC bike rack which I believed to be an exact knock-off of the Hollywood rack. The wheel loops are a 1/2 wider than the bracket and I could not get the bolts to attach. To solve the problem I used a ratchet strap to squeeze the wheel loop together. Once the adapters were attached everything is solid and they work just as they should.
Product was delivered early and in tack was not disappointed in its quality at all. Cheers to etrailer for a great Job well done.

Fantastic the Hollywood bike rack in my opinion is the best ebike rack on the market you can purchase. Never regreted buy it.

The small wheel hoop adapter for Hollywood racks works as advertised. Easy to install and adjust as necessary. Must have item for those 20 inch fat tire e-bikes,
The small wheel hoop adapters were easy to install and made the e-bike wheel sit higher up in the bike rack, thus protecting my bike derailer from getting damaged.
The best adjustment for our Lectric bikes, it allows you to make a perfect fit on your bike racks.
Item is excellent and just as described. etrailer.com provided great communication regarding the delivery status of my order - will use them again for sure.
