Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the replacement Furrion 4.3 inch monitor. This is going to be for your Furrion Vision S wireless RV system. This helps you to back up effectively and see what's going on behind you or just have another screen for your RV system.It comes with this little protective film to keep that screen protected in transit and it's just the screen. It doesn't come with a mount or the wiring connection. So if you need a replacement for that, that is sold separately.It's just going to work with your system.
It's going to have all those same features as our original screen. You can see the antenna back here that we can move around and get that adjusted where we needed it to be to get a good signal, and then our mount here, mount connection and the wiring port for the power.All our buttons are going to be on the side so we can adjust those, turn it on, make any adjustments to the menu that we need to, and so on.The monitor measures three, or excuse me, four and three quarter inches across in total, by three and an eighth inch tall and about an inch deep. We go from the top here. The screen itself measured diagonally is about four and five sixteenths of an inch.That's about all there is to it for our look at the replacement 4.3 inch monitor for your Furrion Vision S system. Replaces the 4.3" monitor for your Furrion Vision S wireless RV camera system.I already have a 4.3 monitor. I upgraded it to a 5 inch so I can connect it with my side markers. I waited patiently for the monitor only to get the wrong one. I know it’s an honest mistake but double checking at work never hurts, especially for someone who needed it before a trip out of state.
I needed to replace a Vision S monitor that came with a used travel trailer purchase as the mount female part was broken when I bought the trailer. The monitor came within a few days. I had trouble connecting the Bluetooth to the camera. I was able to easily find the solution and had it connected and functional quickly!
I was sold a defective unit that has never worked for more than a few seconds before crashing. Utterly useless.
The power connector is a little weak. But good monitor.
The monitor is probably fine. I'm giving it one star because it was not clear to me from the description, even going back and reading it again, that this monitor will only work with ONE camera. The RV I bought has the side cameras as well but is also called the "Vision S System" so I saw no reason to think this wouldn't work with it. It does work, you can just only pair one of the three cameras. So I have to return it and pay the extra $100 to get the 5" monitor that can display three cameras. I suggest eTrailer update the product description to avoid the problem.

My monitor with the Furrion system stopped working. I was able to get a replacement monitor from etrailer and was back in business. Easy to order and etrailer provided great assistance.
After one year, still working great, love my furrion replacement monitor and camera. Unrelated to this purchase but ive had the combo for almost 4 years now will have to replace the camera soon, I think the lens has faded despite my attempts to clean it. Cant imagine driving without it though so its on the list of to dos for the coming year.
Did not come with a power cord. What would you think if you bought a new TV, got it home only to find out the power cord is extra?!

This is meant to just be the replacement monitor and does not come with the power cord. The power cord is part # C-FOS07TAPK-006.
The part did not work with my trailer. I was able to get on the phone with eTrailer support early on, who was able to give me contact information for Furrion. it took over a month to get a response from Furrion who claimed there was no issue, just to confirm that there is a voltage issue with European tow vehicles from other users online. We missed the return window. In the end, it was a waste of time and money. Wish we could have just gotten a return, still don't have a backup camera.

You mentioned that you were still looking for a back-up camera. Do you still have a 2011 Volvo XC90 Suv?

Yes, we do still have the XC90. We just can’t seem to find a camera that can guarantee a match, so we haven’t purchased another one yet. We don’t want to be out of another few hundred dollars. We’ve just not driven the trailer as much so we don’t have to worry about backing up.

I do have a few back up cameras that you might be interested in. They are part # HM34FR and part # HM60195VA. I appreciate your response and I wanted to give a few option
I was pleased with the ordering on line and received item in a timely manner.
The 7 inch monitor is probably better but this 4.3 inch works great
We love our rear view camera, but it has a very short life. We had to replace it a year ago as it rattled loudly then died. A year later, the camera replacement is now loudly rattling while in use.

Furrions warranty is typically 2 years on kits. I do not show you ordering the kit from us, just the replacement monitor, so I would ask Furrion if this is covered under warranty.

Furrion rear view camera for our camper worked well.
The replacement monitor I was sent did not work properly. When I called etrailer I was given a number to call Furrion. Furrion was very helpful and quickly helped me see what the problem was. I called etrailer again to let them know what the problem was and was hoping to get help to resolve this and Have a new monitor sent. The customer service/tech support was very slow and they didn’t listen to where I was having the issue with the monitor so the email process was very slow asking me question I had already told a representative on the phone and I included what the issue with the monitor was in an email. I returned to monitor and will purchase from another company. I was very disappointed with my experience and the product I received.
This review is more about the Furrion observation camera I’m replacing more than the one I just bought as a replacement.
I purchased the equivalent to the Furrion 4.3 observation camera system for my new travel trailer in 2017.
After about 4 years of use, the images on the monitor had gotten fuzzy and it became difficult to ascertain what was a vehicle and what was a shadow. After looking at the camera, I came to the conclusion that the lens was now cloudy and the camera itself was bad.
I purchased a new camera only to find out it was not compatible with my older monitor and wouldn’t connect. I wound up having to purchase my new monitor to make it compatible.
As for my evaluation of the Furrion observation camera in general, I found that initially it worked well with clarity and decent blue tooth performance. After about the third year of use, the picture quality started degrading fairly rapidly and probably should have been replaced after the third year or into the fourth year.
While the system initially worked well, for the price point it sells at, I was rather disappointed in its durability. There are less expensive units out there and even if they don’t last any longer, they cost less to replace.
My RV came pre-wired for the Furrion camera so I went with it for the ease of installation. I’ll be hanging with Furrion for the time being but will have to figure a way to protect the camera lens while the RV is stored.
If you find yourself having to replace your Furrion camera, I would suggest looking into an alternative unit. If you want to stick with Furrion, call etrailer customer service (skip the chat option), and speak with a representative, which are excellent I might add, and ask about compatibility between the camera and monitor. You may or may not need to purchase both ends of the unit.
Can't pair to my camera
Great company, had my monitor in less than a week.
My old furrion monitor had stopped working. Furrion wanted $250 for a new one. Found this one at etrailer for $150. Works great, the camera and monitor pair immediately and is working perfectly. Thanks
I love my backup camera on my travel trailer. My original monitor quit working so rather than spending two hundred fifty dollars, i went to etrailer and found one for less. Works great. Love etrailer.
I just installed my Furrion Vision S camera on my travel trailer today, and connecting this was super easy. You just need to remember to hit the sync button on the camera and go to the pairing part of the menu on the display.
I ordered this replacement monitor because of the poor quality of the image on the one I had. It is dark and blurry. I thought that was just they way it was, but I recently discover it should be much better. Because the warranty had run out Furrion would not help, even though it was like this from the start. I got this one yesterday and immediately installed it. It is only a slight improvement. I'm disappointed. Maybe it is a poor camera, rather than the monitor.
etrailer is quickly becoming my RV equipment and repair part sourcing organization. Their inventory of items is very extensive, and their on-line support staff are angels - patient, knowledgeable and focused on gettting me what I need. I highly recommend them.
The vision S monitor also allows you to pickup audio from the camera. The person guiding you can be heard, but it's a one way audio system. Picture quality is much improved from the older version.
Initially the monitor didn't work, but that was my fault I didn't realize the trailer (that we just bought used) had an older Vision 2 camera, not a Vision S. I purchased a Vision S camera (used) and everything now pairs and works perfectly.
