Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this wind fairing for your Front Runner Slimline II platform racks. Now, this aerodynamic fairing is going to deflect air over your 45-7/8 inch to 49-3/8 inch wide Slimline II platform rack. This is going to help reduce wind noise and drag, and the sleek design is going to actually enhance the look of your rack. Now, I wanna give you a brief overhead view and go over some measurements with you.
So retrieving my tape measure here, measuring the overall width here at the widest point, as you can see, we are sitting right at about 43 inches wide. And then looking at the overall height, we're sitting right at about 6-5/8 inches tall. And the fairing itself weighs almost 2-1/2 pounds. And if you do have a low profile rack, I wanted to let you know a few things regarding the low profile rack and some other things. Low profile racks should use the Front Runner wind fairings for low profile racks that you see identified there by our item number there.
And then some other things I wanted to make you aware of, this is not compatible with Front Runner LED light bar mounting brackets identified by the model number that you see there. And finally, this is not suitable for Toyota RAV4 Adventure models. So I wanted to let you know those items up front as you're considering this fairing for your use. The rubber seal that you see here is going to eliminate gaps between the fairing and roof. And this included clear protective strip is going to help prevent scuffs to your finish.
That might be hard to see there on my table, but that is included with this fairing. And then these adjustable brackets are going to let you angle this fairing for best performance. And as you can see, the hardware is included. And this does feature a perforated punch out section as you can see right here. And that's to help accommodate for center front antennas or shark fins.
I do wanna point out that this may interfere with sunroof operation on some vehicles and this is going to be an easy installation on the front bottom channel of your Front Runner Slimline II platform rack with the included hardware and brackets that we just looked at, giving you a view of the other side here. And this is going to be durable for you. This is actually made out of aluminum and it is powder coated so you're not gonna have to worry about rusts and corrosion with this. Instructions are included to walk you through the installation process. And that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

It’s a night and day difference. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because really all it is, is a flimsy piece of metal. Is it worth the cost? If the sound of your roof rack is driving you mad, then yes. Otherwise, probably not.
