Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Firestone double convoluted RED Label air spring. This premium, double convoluted air helper spring is specifically designed for heavy-duty custom applications. It is important to note that these RED Label air springs are not intended to supplement the standard air springs in Ride-Rite kits. They are, again, for use on custom applications only.
This offers a maximum load support operating at 150 PSI, providing cushioning between opposing components. And this spring has a machined, welded, 3/8 of an inch NPT inflation port. And this has a ride height between 5.5 inches and 6.5 inches and a maximum diameter of 6.6 inches. The compressed height is 2.8 inches and the extended height is 8.3 inches. And this durable spring is constructed from a proprietary, ultrahigh strength cord, providing excellent flexibility and durability, boasting twice the tensile strength of standard Firestone cords.
And it includes more than 1/8 of a mile of cord in every spring. The braided wire girdle hoop creates the convoluted shape, making it stronger than standard Firestone girdle hoops, increasing the burst pressure of the air spring. And the silver, environmentally friendly metal coating is super resistant to corrosion. And the time-proven crimp seal keeps the rubber air bag secured to the end plates. This does have a limited lifetime warranty.
