Today we're going to take a look at the Furrion Power Cord Y-Adapter with the 30 amp male plug to the two 30 amp female plugs. Now these Y-adapters are used to convert two cables to one. The Y-adapter attaches to your boat's 30 amp inlet and then the two female plugs will connect to the 30 amp extension cords that can be run to an electrical hook-up.The male plug connects to the 30 amp power inlet on your boat. Now on the female plugs, they do use power smart LED's on the plugs which will indicate when power is present at the plug. On each one there's a little round, bright blue LED that will light up as soon as it's plugged in to let you know if there's power there.All three of the plugs use a nice, ergonomic molded side grip for easy, user-friendly connection to plug them in and remove them and if you notice on the female end, they do use these protective end caps on the female plugs. They do also offer this weatherproof sealing collar on the female plug end.

Basically what this does is you can attach, this collar's already on the one, you can take this collar, attach it to the extension cord and then use this collar in the middle that'll thread on, once you get that threaded on like that, then with this on the other cord, you could plug it in and then thread it on and it gives you a nice weatherproof seal between the connection.This cord is a heavy duty marine grade construction. It is a universal fit with other brands and it is tested to marine UL and CUL standards. You can see the cord is nice yellow color for visibility. Amperage on it, the female plugs is 30 amps each.
