Firestone Ride-Rite springs are designed to increase safety and reduce the strain on your vehicle when you are hauling heavy loads or towing a heavy trailer. The springs partner with your existing rear suspension system to help keep your vehicle level, maintain even load distribution and increase stability. Hauling heavy loads or towing a heavy trailer can make the rear of your vehicle sag and the front end rise. This puts more strain on your rear axle and reduces contact between your front tires and the road, causing problems with braking, steering control and traction. By adding air springs to your rear suspension, you can help to level your vehicle and improve braking and handling. The air springs also help to level your headlight beams and reduce wear on your tires.
Adjustable Air Pressure
The air pressure in your Ride-Rite springs can be adjusted manually, side to side, to compensate for off-center loads. A centered load improves the stability of your vehicle by reducing body roll. The air springs will also help to absorb road shock and to soften contact between your axle and frame. This prevents bottoming out, thus improving ride comfort. Route the air line tubing for the springs to your vehicle's bumper to provide easy access to the manual inflation valves.
Air Spring Construction
Firestone's double-convoluted Ride-Rite air springs are designed to give you maximum load support and enhance the performance and ride comfort of your vehicle. The rubber springs provide cushioning between your suspension components and operate at up to 100 psi. The springs have four layers of reinforced rubber to ensure durability and enhance load support. A braided wire girdle creates the double-convoluted shape of each air spring, increasing the burst pressure of the spring. The rubber springs are attached to corrosion-resistant metal end plates with a time-proven, rolled crimp seal that keeps the bags securely anchored.

Each Ride-Rite kit includes custom-fit brackets that connect to your axle and frame. The brackets provide the mounting points for the air springs. Drilling may be required for some applications.

etrailer was very helpful with making sure I ordered the right product. As for the product... I love the addition to my 20201 Toyota Tundra TRD PRO. It made towing my 2021 Lance 2285 Travel Trailer a dream. The truck and trailer sit perfectly level now and the truck handles great. Easy install only took a couple of hours. In my pic... the stabilizer jacks are down because I was doing a quick overnighter and didn't want to unhitch. But the stabilizers aren't lifting the camper or truck.. just kissing the ground to keep the camper from rocking when inside. Its the only pic I had handy.
Installed easily, and used them to pull a heavy 24’ trailer across the country with a half ton pickup. The only thing I’d like to see is a manual leveling system with gauges and a compressor on board. I use a hand pump specifically for motorcycle air suspension to make the fine adjustments required to set the pressure. Works well.
They did their job perfectly.
I have used these on my last 4 trucks. They work great leveling my vehicle once I hook up to my trailer. It takes a little work, but they can be installed without professional assistance. I wouldn't be without them.
Always a great product and experience with etrailer! You are nuts if you buy elsewhere!

Been a year, I can’t complain one bit! The bags are working fantastic! Hook my camp trailer up and air them up to the PSI that makes my truck ride level. No issues, no mechanical problems, they just work!
In the last year I’ve logged over 2,500 miles towing with the airbags installed. Tundra TRD Pro’s are known for their “squat” when hauling. These bags not only leveled the truck but also provided a noticeable difference in handling & driving. Only regret is not having them installed earlier. Self install was easy.
These bags work very well. such a big difference in the ride and handling when I have my trailer hooked up. The trailer is a 22 foot cargo trailer by 8.5 wide. Inside measurements. Pulls like a dream with the bags at only 45 lbs air pressure.
The Firestone air helpers do the job of leveling off my 1/2 ton Toyota Tundra and having pulled my fifth wheel with them 2400 miles no issues. Install was not as easy as described but very do able. You just have to remember to drop the air back after you take the load off or yo get a stiff ride! I recommend them.
Installed on my 2021 Toyota Tundra, These Firestone Ride Rite are phenomenal. I’m very pleased with the results AAAA++++
Installation was pretty straight forward. Completed in about 2.5 hours taking my time, in my drive with basic tools. Havent had a chance to test them out.

These work great. No problems after one year. Made a big difference with 1020 lbs. tongue weight. I don't see any difference in ride when unloaded (10 psi on helpers), Really nice to have the boat tow level.

Product still works great. Several trips with the boat or heavy loads.
I ordered air bags from another company. They didn't sent them for over week. Frustrated I ordered same set of air bags from etrailer got them two days early. I've installed them and the other company still hasn't responded to the cancelation. let alone Sent the products I payed for and still waiting for a refund. I've have ordered several times from etrailer every ordered on time or early I really appreciate the attention to detail
Installed a year ago and have used them many times towing the marching band trailer for the high school and my RV/Trailer. Easy to install, easy to use and they have made a huge difference in being able to put on my stabilizer bars and not scraping when backing my trailer into my driveway. Loaded up the truck with a pallet of concrete recently and did not have that terrible sag I had before.
These work just as expected. Huge improvement in handling and braking after install and use on large trailer.
Nice to get rid of the trailer sag as well!
I purchased this product to level out my vehicle while Towing my 28foot trailer. Installation took me about 2 hrs by myself laying on the concrete. Couldn't be happier with the results.
It was an easy install and everything fit OK. I removed the spare tire to make it easy. I had to slightly bend the brake hose bracket on both sides and another bracket just slightly to clear the rear spring clamp at the bottom of the spring. I carry my 1,400 pound Honda Pioneer 700 and pull my travel trailer with a 400 pound hitch weight. I have your weight distribution hitch for some of the hitch weight.

Still working great. I have them on my 1999 Ford too and those still work great.
They're very nice, easy to install. I did it on a 2015 toyota tundra in about an hour from start to finish. I removed the rear tires to cut the joist off to make it easier for me. Other than that extra step I made for myself their videos for the install is spot on. I recommend them to anyone who is hauling anything of weight to save wear and tear on the suspension,breaks and tires of their vehicle.
Fit was good. Fairly easy install. Raised rear bumper up about 4 inches. Toyota Tundra was riding low, couldn't get jack of trailer out from under trailer. Now there is plenty of room to spin the jack to storage position.
Easy to install. Just my two cents, remove the jounce bumpers when installing instead of cutting them off. Makes for an easier installation. Overall works great for leveling out my boat and camper when hauling.
These air bags are a must for any pickup truck,especially if you use it for towing. I tow three different trailers of different weights. In minutes I can adjust the air pressure to perfectly level my truck. No more headlights pointing to the sky. Anyone with basic mechanical skills and hand tools can install these in a couple of hours. Beef up your suspension without sacrificing a smooth ride. I had these on my old pickup so when I bought a new truck I knew the first upgrade had to be a set ife Firestone air bags. Best affordable upgrade on the market.

After a year I’m still in love with my bags. I purchased them to pull a 28’ MPG Travel Trailer as well as our dump trailer. Installing the valves near the rear plate made filling easy. A MICH NEEDED upgrade if you haul.
Installation was pretty easy and they work as described...very happy with the product and love the remote for quickly change pressure.
Outstanding product!!! Well made and easy to install on my 2010 Tundra TRD. Just basic tools needed so anyone can do it!! Take your time and it is a fun 2 hour project. Made towing my trailer so much nicer. Level ride with comfort and good maneuverability. Think I am going to add these to my other GMC work truck as well.

It’s not a year yet but they work great and can be filled up with bicycle tire pump and is more precise than an air pump and bike pump is easier to take a long then a compressor just thought you all would like to no thanks for a great product and good people to work with

It still does what they said it does and it has not changed and i can ajust the air with a bike pump got to love that no compressor on my tundra
Installed these about a year ago. Were easy to install and are still working well. Solved the delema of my Tundra sagging when towing a travel trailer. A definit problem solver.

After a year, they are a great aid in hauling a d towing with my half ton. No more sagging rear suspension when loaded. Yes, the rear ride firmed up a little even with only five pounds pressure. That’s a small trade-off.
