2019 Ram 3500. Hitch looks great and installed easily. Hitch parts were wrapped up nicely and delivered with no damage. I have only an average tool box and some of the factory bolts were very difficult to remove. The videos were spot on the the written directions that came with hitch were great for reference. Highly recommend and would suggest over the lighter duty hitches available.

Fit well and I've used it several times, it is holding up real good and I can load my motorcycle on the front of the truck when I'm traveling which I done several times.
Also does great if you want to hook up and move trailer and you don't want to use the back hitch.
I took a quick look under it and it's still solid with not even any spot rust, I think the value of this is far worth it!

Installed the hitch this morning, all went as anticipated. The directions provided were excellent and if you couple the videos you will have no problem with the installation. Just take your time. Have fun with the installation. Did do one thing different from the directions and used a 1/2 drill bit to create a radius on the inner side of the air dam cut outs, the radius made a custom tight fit around the receiver tube.

Have used the front hitch a couple of times with great success maneuvering trailers into tight locations. One benefit is the added protection the hitch provides to the front end of the trucks inter cooler and other components. To me front hitch’s should be required on all trucks 34 ton and up. The applications are almost endless as to functional uses a front hitch can provide.

The people on here complaining about packaging are not being prima donnas. The first time I ordered this, all I got was the banged up crossbar with the shredded packing label taped to it.
Customer service was great, and shipped out a replacement within hours.
The second arrived in the shredded remnants of the box with about 75% of the hardware. License plate holder is banged up, the powder coat is busted through. I'm just going to buy the replacement pieces at the hardware store. There's no point in wasting another week to find out if whoever handles their packaging can pull off the bare minimum of competence this time.
The picture is the condition the box arrived in (open and shredded). You can actually see the first crossbar with the shipping label attached at the edge of the photo.
My advice would be to order this elsewhere, on the off chance you'll actually receive it intact. It's a shame, the people seem really nice, and the item quality is stellar.

2019 Ram 2500
Overall fitment and function is 5/5, no complaint there. It's a solid unit and fit like a glove. My lack of 5 star review is due to the customer experience (no fault of etrailer). Box was broken, so parts were flying everywhere. It's one giant bag of hardware, nothing is labeled. After going through it all, one part was missing, but wasn't needed for my install. The instructions I got were for a different vehicle altogether. etrailer customer service was great to confirm I had the right shipment, and got me the proper instructions. The instructions contained multiple typos on the hardware, referencing a 200mm bolt that didn't exist, etc. Doing it in my driveway as an amateur, without a lift, and just hand tools, it probably took about 8-10 hrs beginning to end. Recommend setting aside a weekend to do it. Torklift video on YouTube is worth a watch also. It Torklift improved packaging/instructions, it's easily 5 out of 5 stars. Torklift can't be beat for quality.

I purchased this front hitch a year ago. It was sent by etrailer without any of the hardware. I went round and round with them, and they couldn't seem to figure out how to send me all of the parts needed. I finally had to contact Ecohitch to get the last couple of parts required for installation. Installing it was more difficult than I expected but I finally got it done with help. Now that it's on, it looks good. I'm disappointed with the service of etrailer and will be hesitant to buy from them again.

Put the hitch on my 2020 Ram 3500 dually in a couple hours, (bevies included in that time). Instructions were straight forward. Installation was relatively simple with truck on ramps. Bought it so I could mount the winch in the front of the truck or rear. It saved my butt this winter when I backed down a steep icy driveway with a trailer attached and was unable to go back up. The hitch was strong enough to hold the winch and pull the truck and loaded trailer up the driveway. Paid for itself after one use.

Fantastic product! This thing is virtually indestructible and I work it very, very hard. From my hitch-mount snow plow, to my 500lb cargo rack, to my 13k winch...it handles it all and not a sign of fatigue, or corrosion. Plus, the convenience of throwing my ball hitch in to move my trailer around is invaluable in tight storage yards and campsites Im constantly utilizing. This thing has more than paid for itself my 1st year using it, and I expect many more years of service from it!

Extremely disappointed, again. Box arrived with a hole in it and hardware laying on the ground. Seriously? I can hardly wait to see what I am missing. The last two products I ordered were a complete failure as well. Sent a message to customer service and never heard back.I've spent way too much money at this company.

2019 Dodge Ram Pickup
I purchased this for my 2019 Ram 3500 longbed. I have an 8' cabover camper and I wanted to be able to haul my motorcycle or bicycles on the front and still be able to get into my camper. This hitch has worked perfectly for my intended use. I carry a KTM 350 EXC-F (300lbs +/-) with no problems at all. The installation was moderate, requiring some level of mechanical ability and persistence but nothing exceptional. My dad and I installed it in about 2 hours, start to finish. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to front mount a motorcycle or bicycle rack; it is STOUT!

Received box in poor condition. 4 holes throughout. Missing 5 plates needed for install. Contacted customer service and they are sending out another unit. Hopefully it is delivered intact and not missing anything. I will update review when new one is delivered and installed.

Simple installation, took about an hour. Does what I wanted it for, cargo rack or bike rack. I have a truck camper and the hitch allows me to carry extra gear without obstructing access to the camper door.

Very beefy, once installed works perfectly. Not nearly as easy to install as the front receiver I put in my older truck, but would definitely do it again. Do not measure and cut the shroud, install without tightening fasteners, mark where to cut, and then cut the shroud (assuming you have an intercooler). My truck is a 2021 Cummings 3500 and the factory rear receiver is a 2.5-inch and this is a 2-inch, I prefer them to be the same size.

2022 Ram 2500
Just arrived and like others I am disappointed in the condition it has arrived. The box is taped together on both ends as there is no additional protection for the arms of the mount. Both are scratched pretty bad and I am worried that one is slightly bent. I will have to paint these prior to installation. The license plate mount is badly bent and currently it is stuck inside the receiver. I will have to try and straighten things out before that is useable. The hardware box contains lose nuts, bolts, washers etc. and several of them were floating around in the larger box. Hopefully nothing is missing!

2019 Dodge Ram Pickup
I don't normally work on vehicles so I was a little hesitant to order and install the EcoHitch EH37FR. The hitch installation directions were excellent. I have a 2019 RAM 2500 diesel and installing the hitch took less than 90 minutes once I removed the air dam. Removing and reinstalling the air dam was the most difficult part of the process! The hitch fit perfectly! If you don't look for the hitch, you'd never know it was there. The hitch did arrive with a little damage to the box and 95% of all of the bolts were in the box. etrailer was very responsive and replaced what was missing. Overall I would highly recommend e-trailer and the EcoHitch EH37FR.

2022 Ram 3500
The fit and finish (on the truck) is damn near perfect. However the pin hole is about 1/2” further back than standard pin holes for hitches. I purchased this for the sole purpose of putting a hitch mounted winch on it. With the pin hole set 1/2” back the pin hole will not match up, I’m not sure how many other accessories this will affect. If this can be corrected and a proper pin hole placed hitch can be sent to replace this one I could give this product all 5 stars. As this hitch requires modifying the plastic shrouds I cannot remove it now as it supports those plastic pieces.

I ordered the hitch in early November. I spoke with customer service after having few shipping problems. They were helpful and easy to talk to and helped track down the package. I finally received it around mid-December. The EcoHitch is a perfect fit for my 2019 Ram 3500. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The hitch arrived quickly but unfortunately, as mentioned in other reviews, the shipping carton was damaged and parts were leaking out all over my driveway as the UPS guy brought it to the door. We gathered parts from the UPS truck and the driveway but some critical parts were missing (mount plates, spacers). I talked to Kennica C. at Etrailer about the missing parts and she was very kind and helpful but until I get these parts I can't mount the thing so we'll see how that goes. Seems that after all the trouble with packaging they would modify their packing procedure.
