Well as someone who has installed at least 8 trailer hitches over the years, and now being (let’s say a little older) this was by far the easiest I have ever done. Partially to Nissan and how they prep for this, but your product looks nice, fit perfect, I do like the matte finish better as well. And more than anything, as someone who hesitates for a lot of feed back. THANK YOU
Received the hitch in perfect shape. I was able to install it by myself without special tools or needing to jack up the vehicle. It was somewhat of a challenge (I'm 66 yrs. old and not a really strong guy) but I did it! It fits perfectly! The Swagman XC bike rack which your consultant recommended works great with the hitch. Great job, etrailer!!
Jeffrey - 01/01/2022This seems like a nice quality hitch receiver. It came 3 days eariler than stated and was exactly what it said it would be. I recommend ordering one that comes with the bolts and washers as shown here. That made it so much easier than trying to track down my own.
I put it on by myself with the use of a wood block placed in the center to suspend it under the car. I don't think I could have installed it by myself without the block - the hitch is quite stout. I had a bit of trouble getting 2 of the holes to line up with the holes in the frame of my car, but I was able to take it back off and hit it with a sledge hammer to widen it 1/2 of an inch. After that it went right on. I'd buy this again if I ever needed another one. Time to hook on the bike rack and go on an adventure.
Hitch arrived well before estimated delivery. Installation went as smooth as the video. A 20 gauge brush works great to clean to holes.

I put a 12” high pail under one side to hold it up into place, and my wife shone a flash light for me. Put a couple of bolts in on the opposite side and then finished up on the pail side. Complete install of the hitch was 35 minutes, including torquing. Not to bad for a 75 years young senior. Thanks again.
Perfect! We were a bit scared when the bolts for the hitch wouldn’t go in due to rusting and dirt. Nothing a power tool couldn’t handle. Perfect bike rack for my Murano!
This was the easiest hitch receiver mount ever. Quality product and great customer service and delivery time. The installation video was a great resource. Will definitely buy again when needed and will tell my friends about e-trailer!
Brian - 11/09/2022I put this on my 2016 Nissan Murano for a luggage carrier to haul beach chairs, umbrella, and other beach accessories. Installation was as expected installing it by yourself. Took me about an hour-and-a-half with 45 minutes dedicated to retapping the holes (rusted) on my Murano. I also had to flex/bend the hitch I got as 2 holes were off by about 1/8..no biggie. Overall, pleased with the hitch and the installation process. I would recommend and buy this hitch again from trailer. Thanks!
Delivered ahead of time in perfect condition. The trailer hitch receiver was very easy to install, the instructions were clear and concise.
Fit like a glove. Instalation took less than 15 minutes. Superior product with superior customer service. Hard to fine now days, but etrailer.com sets the Gold Standard.
I couldn’t respond before because I didn’t install it yet. I had a heck of a time cleaning out those weld nuts so that the bolts could go into it. Went shopping around to different places to see how much they would charge me to install it, some places wanted 125 dollars to $140 and they couldn’t do it right away because they were booked up. I got out my tools, cleaned all those nuts and install the trailer hitch by myself.
No special tools needed no welding needed I didn’t even need a lift to do the job.
Excellent Quality, great shipping and packaging as well. This was about as easy of an installation as you can get. I installed this on my 2021 Murano S AWD. I removed the weight ratings sticker from the hitch and relocated it inside the spare tire area and added a plain hitch cover to tie it all together and it has a great factory look!
Very straightforward install - raised it up on a floor jack and it bolted right into place. Eazy peazy. Looks great and works well. Couldn't be happier!
I choose the etrailer brand hitch over the other brands for cost. I guess the old sayings is right: ‘you get what you pay for’.
The matte black finish looks good on the vehicle but only 4 of the 5 bolt holes line up correctly. I doubt there’s much variation in the placement of the bolts at the Nissan plant, so this is just a sloppily built hitch. It seems secure enough with 4/5 bolts torqued in, so I plan to leave it as is.

great bike rack. Makes lifting the heavy bikes easy on the back by being able to lift 1/2 the bike and put the front tire in the cradle then lifting the back half into the rear tire cradle. Also, the ratchet clamps do a great job holding the bikes down when transporting.
Hi george how are you? Thanks for reaching me out. About the hitch that i bought from etrailer so far is fine. My only concern is 1 of 4 holes not matched In the under holes of mh murano.

Hitch works fine, arrived in good condition, very good workmanship and powder coat. I did have a little trouble on installation, it appeared to be slightly skewed which gave me some problems getting in the last bolt even though I had the other ones in loosely. I still had to pry it in the into position. Other than that I’m very happy with the hitch, as I have been with other trailer hitches.

We love our e-trailer bike hauler, just used it this weekend for a bike trip to trails in Georgia, very sturdy, holds our two bikes, installation was easy, bolt pattern was exact, so a quick install. Would recommend its purchase,
The Hitch arrived sooner than expected. I installed it myself in about 15 minutes. Use something to hold one side up(I used a floor jack) while I started bolts in the other side. Holes lined up nicely. It helps to have an extension for your socket wrench to easily tighten the bolts. The hitch looks great.
Installed it yesterday. I’m a 69 year old female and the hardest part was getting back up from the ground. I highly recommend this hitch.
