Round trailer axle beam measures 95" from hub face to hub face (when hubs - sold separately - are mounted) and 80" from spring center to spring center. Easy Grease spindles make it easy to lubricate bearings (sold separately).

Specs:
There are multiple ways to measure the length of an axle beam, but the hub-face-to-hub-face and spring-center-to-spring-center lengths are the most accurate. Hub face (A) refers to the length of the axle measured from the base of one wheel stud to the base of the wheel stud on the opposite side of the axle (when hubs are mounted on the beam).
The spring center (B) is the approximate width of your trailer. It is measured from the center of the spring seat on one side of the axle to the center of the seat on the other. This axle beam comes with the spring seats welded on.
If you are replacing your trailer's axle, you should be able to figure out which type you need by determining your trailer's capacity, the bolt pattern of your wheels, the brake type and the aforementioned lengths.
etrailer axles are made of high-strength steel and come with spindles and spring seats welded on. The spring seats are attached to the underside of the axle so that the leaf springs (sold separately) can mount beneath the axle. The result of this underslung design is a trailer that rides a bit lower for quick and easy loading and unloading.
Each axle is manufactured to create a certain camber angle. This ensures that the angle of the wheels is correct for your towing needs. Because the primary concern when towing is maintaining controlled, in-line movement, each axle is made so that your trailer's tires will run along the pavement evenly, with contact across the width of the tread. The result is excellent straight-line acceleration for steady, in-line tracking. You might notice the bend near the center of the axle; this is what ensures the proper camber angle. Having the center ride a bit higher and the sides of the axle bent lower allows the axle to give just enough to compensate for the load.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this trailer axle with the easy grease spindles. This is going to be a great option for those of you who are needing to replace an axle on your trailer, or if you're building your own trailer and you're wanting more of a customized suspension system, this will also work for that. But of course, there are lots of different options for axles different weight capacities, different links. So you want to make sure that you're getting the right one for your application.
This is a three inch diameter round steel axle beam. It's going to have a weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. So if you have a single axle trailer with a 6,000 pound weight capacity, it will work for that. Or if you have a dual axle trailer, obviously that weight capacity will be doubled. The next thing you're going to need to know is the length.
So there's two different ways to measure the length. The first is going to be from our spring seats, which is where our leaf Springs will mount to. These are welded onto our axle. So it's going to be a nice static point of reference for us to measure from. So from the center of one spring seat to the center of the other, it's going to be right at 80 inches.
The other way to measure the length is from our hub face. Now, obviously this axle doesn't have the hubs installed. Those are sold separately, but once you get your hubs mounted in place from right about right where the wheel is going to butt up against the hub at face, there from one to the other, it's going to be 95 inches. So again, make sure that that's going to work for your application. If you're needing a different length axle or a different rate capacity, we do have lots of options here at etrailer.com.
So again, make sure you're getting the right one for your application. So this does have a slight bend right here in the middle. That's going to be our camber. It's going to ensure that while when our trailer is under load, the angle of our wheels is going to allow for full road to tread contact across the full width of our wheel. So that we're not going to have to worry about our tires wearing unevenly. It's going to be great for your straight line acceleration and nice and steady towing. Our spindles are welded in place. Using a patented welding process actually allows the spindle to slide over the axle rather than just butt up against it. So that's going to be about 40% stronger than your standard weld. So that's going to help prevent spindle failure. It's also going to ensure proper alignment of the spindle. So everything is nice and lined up there. And then of course our spindles do have the built-in grease. exert there. That's going to allow us to easily hook up our grease gun, pump some grease in it's going to come out this hole right here to help fill up that cavity and to keep everything well, lubricated. Now keep in mind, that's not going to replace your regular maintenance, taking everything apart, making sure your bearings are packed properly. And that sort of thing. It's just going to be for in between that normal maintenance to make sure that you've got fresh grease in there. Everything's going to be well lubricated. You can see, we do have our brake flange here. That's going to make it very easy for us to Mount our brakes in place. We're also going to have a wire running from one side of the axle to the other, a dual wire here. So it's going to make it easier for us to hook up our electric brakes. One less wire that we have to run to get those connected. And you can see, I mentioned our brake Flanders earlier. They are mounted onto the underside of our axle. They're welded in place, and that's going to allow us to Mount our leaf Springs in the underslung orientation, which is going to create a lower ride height, make it much easier for us to load and unload our trailer. This axle is C-S-A-Q-A-I-N-S-A-E-N certified. So you can trust which those high quality standards it's going to do a good job for you to get the job done. And last you have nice long time. It does also come with a limited lifetime warranty. So if you we're to have any problems with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com We're always happy to work with our customers, make sure you're getting good quality products and having a good experience. So overall, I think this is going to be a great axle again, make sure that that weight capacity and length work for you. If they do. I think you'll be very happy with this. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Number one quality parts. Had to replace the axle due to lack of lubrication of the wheel bearings. Love the concept and ease of keeping the wheel bearings supplied with fresh grease on the e-z lube axles.

Received exactly when expected. I realize they where odd shaped items but I think they could’ve been packaged a little better than plastic wrap. The rubber boot over the spindle was a great touch but the flange bolts were unprotected. Other than packaging I was very pleased with my order and they bolted right up.
