Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this etrailer 6 foot long sliding winch C-channel track. Now the C-channel winch track will let you create an anchor point for your sliding winch on your enclosed trailer or your flatbed truck. It allows for the 4 inch standard sliding winch to slide easily to the desired position you need. And the sliding winches we do sell separately on our website.
This winch track is usually attached to the underside of trailers to allow the user to reposition the sliding winch as needed. The winch basically secures in place when tension is applied to the winch strap. This track is in hot roll, raw finish steel, which is corrosion resistant. It is made in the USA. They do use 1/4 inch thick steel to make this, and the overall length from one end to the other is 6 feet. I'm going to zoom in to give you a few more measurements.
The width on it, let me lift this up. Overall width is going to be right at 4.65 inches. The height it's going to be right at 1.82 inches. And again, I do have it upside down. This would normally be flipped over on the underside, and then what you could do, let me zoom out.
I happened to pull here's a standard 4 inch standard sliding winch. Zoom in here so you can see what we're talking about. You can see there's the winch. And basically when it's upside down, you'll have the ratchet over there, just like that. And if you'll notice right here, you'll see the cutouts, cutouts here. And on the other side, that is what will lineup with these on the C-channel here.
I'll just show you. Zoom out here. And then what you'll do is line those cutouts onto the C-channel, and then you just slide it to whatever position you need. And as I mentioned, this is actually upside down, but you can see that your ratchet will be, and then where you need you just slide it to whatever position you need to where your load is, and then tighten your winch strap down. And again, as I mentioned, the sliding winches we do sell separately on our website. But that should do it for the review on the etrailer 6 foot long sliding winch C-channel track.
