Installation was super easy, I just followed the video here on etrailer’s product page and used the instructions as needed for reference. I ended up not needing the middle plate for my smaller width trailer, which is nice because it saved on weight lifting the door, yet it would have been nice to have had an option to purchase a smaller kit for the parts I only needed at a discounted price. Overall I’m very pleased though.
Excellent material!! Handles my needs perfectly! I have gone over it with more weight and no problem. I would absolutely recommend it's purchase, matter of fact I may buy a second one for the inside lip of trailer as this one is at ramp doors edge to ground contact. No wood conversions compares to this, especially after a hard days work in the rain.

Got the items super quick. Don't know why I waited to get these for my trailer. As a DJ I have hated having to lift my carts up over the lip of the ramp. These went together very easily and had both installed in about half an hour. Looking forward to using these soon on my next event.Photos show installed and ramp up.

I was looking at transition plates on Amazon with prices ranging between $130 and $230, but all were aluminum and only rated for not more than 800lbs. But most customers stated that the plates were not living up to the specs. I feel these steel plates rated for 1000lbs will more then do the job I need for them.
Great Product but an Easy Simple YouTube Video on installation as wasn’t really sure about putting the 3 Pieces together.
