3 Zones Play Audio From 2 Different Devices

Jensen RV Stereo Bluetooth

You can connect up to 6 speakers (sold separately) to the 3-zone stereo and play audio from 2 different media devices. Zones A and B are linked to the speakers inside your RV, and zone C is linked to the speakers on the outside. The means you can play your preferred radio station inside your RV while your spouse simultaneously connects their smartphone to stream all of their favorite songs outside. And zones A, B, and C can be independently controlled, so you are able to turn down the sound inside your RV while cranking the volume up outside.

Playback Mode Picks Back Up Where You Left Off

If you need to get gas and you're halfway through listening to your favorite song, the playback mode lets you save that stopping point when you turn the power off. Then when you turn the stereo back on, the song will continue playing as if it was never paused, preventing you from having to restart.

Recessed Installation into Your RV's Dashboard

Jensen RV Stereo Installation

The double-DIN stereo bolts to your RV dashboard (mounting hardware not included) for a clean, recessed installation. If you're not directly replacing a stereo, you'll have to cut a hole that measures 6-15/16" wide x 4" tall x 5-1/2" long. Avoid mounting the stereo near heat radiating appliances such as electric heaters or anywhere that's poorly ventilated, humid, or dusty. Then use the included wiring harness and RCA cable to hook the stereo up to power and ground, as well as the TV and speakers you have in your RV.

3-Zone stereo lets you listen to the radio inside your RV while your spouse simultaneously uses Bluetooth to stream some rock tunes outside. Wind down for family movie night with the built-in DVD player.

by:

I had a Furrion DV1220 it would not play DVD. This unit just plugged right in. Checked all functions everything worked including DVD. Hopefully this unit has no issues.

by:

Easy install. Works just as it should for music. I have not tried any video yet. I like that it has HDMI in & out in addition to the old style RCA A/V in & out.

by:

I bought this item to replace the original one that came with my 5th wheel. The only reason is that I knew it would fit without modifications and the “plug and play” convenience of it. The original one failed in under 3 years along with the original TV (also a Furrion). After reading multiple reviews about Lippert components in general I can’t say that I have a comfortable feeling about their products being designed & manufactured to last.

by:

Install with simple, directions were clear. It was an easy replacement for the original one that came with my camper.

by:

This product is average at best. The Bluetooth connectivity can be flaky at times. The software that loads the DVD's looks like it is from the 1990's. The remote control is small and tough to read. The sound quality is acceptable but not as good as most car stereos for the same price point. Being that there are limited options for RV stereos, this is a decent choice.

by:

The zone 3 speakers do not work, in fact, when I am listening to a dvd zones 1 and 2 function but it sounds like I am getting a radio station on zone 3 the outside speakers. Do you know what could cause that? We just started using the RV after being laid up with some medical problems. Thanks,

by:

The wrong unit was sent. Great customer service!

by:

I got this to replace the unit that came in our camper because the DVD player in that unit stopped working. Installation was straightforward, and everything functions as it should, even a year later. I wish this had a bit more power, but it functions perfectly.

by:

Works much better then the jbl that came with my camper

by:

Very happy with this stereo. I have a toy hauler with speakers in the garage and it's nice that I can have individual zones playing without having all, and I can adjust the volume outdoor separate from the indoor speakers. Install was a little tricky as the wire mess from the stock unit took some sorting through.

by:

This has been a great unit. With the 3 zones I’m able to listen to music out on the patio, or in the main living area, or the bedroom.
Or all 3. I have it connected to Polk speakers and the sound is fantastic. It’s also connected to the TV for surround sound for movies. I couldn’t be happier.

by:

Nice stereo lots of features including hdmi, bit expensive but the sound is good on dvds and cds, radio reception is fuzzy and needs to be better or else i would have given extra star

by:

Overall this is an excellent device, mastering the multiple functions of the device was and still is a step undertaking. Highly recommend printing full user manual for reference.

by:

Easy installation and works great. Zone 3 adjustments take awhile to get used to though.

by:

Have not installed yet but ordering was simple and shipping was quick. Would have given 5 stars if not for the fact that delivery was delayed one day past estimated because of transferring from ups to local postal service. (Our local postal service is not the best in the world).

by:

Order was prompt and the follow us appreciated. The great thing about etrailer is the fact that you always know the status of your order. Communication is excellent.

by:

Very pleased with item and customer service from Etrailer.

by:

Love it but the faceplate on the unit was too big so I am having to retune it.

by:

got it on time , it sounds better than my old unit ,very pleased at this time thank you.

by:

Can you email wiring diagram please. T HANKS

by:

Lots of great features on the radio.
Very
happy with the purchase.

  • Replacement Option For A Jensen JWM60A RV Stereo System
We do have other replacement options but manufacturers make their wiring harnesses different so you would have to resplice together your wiring to a new harness unless you used the same model stereo. To keep the same features you have with the # JWM60A you'll want to go with the Furrion RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # DV1230BL. This unit is a bit smaller so you'll need to make a dash plate to cover the gaps. I typically just get a piece of plywood and sand it until the face and edges are smooth...

  • Recommended Stereo With 3.5mm Aux Jack
It does not, Chris. You'd need to use a different stereo like the Furrion RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # DV1230BL which does have that 3.5mm aux port you're looking for.

  • Does Furrion RV Stereo DV1230BL Use Side Retaining Brackets
The Furrion RV Stereo # DV1230BL will not use side retaining brackets to install. As you can see by the accompanying cut out of the instructions that I added, it installs via screws on the front panel. I have also added a photo of the dimensions of the stereo for you. I have added links below to a video review as well as the manual of the Furrion RV Stereo # DV1230BL.

  • Recommended Replacement For A Jensen JWM6A That Has HDMI Ports
The Jensen # JWM60A does not have HDMI ports so you would have to make your connections using the RCA ports in the back of the unit if you went with this stereo. The iRV # IRV64FR has an HDMI port on the front as well as RCA ports on the back to make your connections. If you're wanting to hide the cables a bit more the Furrion # DV1230BL has an HDMI port on the front and back and RCA cables on the back. You would have to rewire the speaker/power/etc. wires to the new wire harness for...

  • Remote Control Options for Furrion RV Stereo
The Furrion RV Stereo # DV1230BL comes with an initial remote and then for a second remote you need the Unismart Remote Control # FR34FR as there isn't a direct replacement. The port at the back is for an IR Remote connection which means if you have an IR remote with the 3.5mm jack it will work with this stereo. You can also control the stereo if your phone has the NFC (near-field communication) ability, which I understand is on newer phones. Furrion has an app you can download as well...

  • Troubleshooting a Furrion RV Stereo Making Clicking Sound
Hey Jason, this has actually come up in the past and when we've spoken to the manufacturer they recommended to factory reset the unit first. If the factory reset doesn't fix the clicking sound, then you'd need to check your wiring for any damage. If your wiring is fine as well, then you'd need to replace it with a different unit because there could be an issue internally.

  • Replacing Furrion RV Stereo DV3300SBL with DV1230BL
The Furrion RV Stereo, # DV1230BL is a very straight forward installation but it will not be as simple as plug and play between this and the # DV3300SBL. Please see the attached links to product review and installation video.

  • How Would Furrion RV Stereo Connect to Furrion Soundbar and Powered Sub
The max wattage of the Furrion Soundbar part # FSB24SA2C-BL is 40 watts at 4 ohms. Each channel of the Furrion RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # DV1230BL is rated at 43 watts so I would just run one set of speaker wires to it and then use the sub out wiring for the powered sub part # FSW8P12CF and you'd be set.

  • Options For Replacing A Jensen JWM72A
If you want to upgrade from your Jensen stereo # JWM70A we have a great option for you. Furrion makes a really nice Rv stereo # DV1230BL. This has an HDMI port to connect your laptop, as well as USB and AUX ports. It is also Bluetooth compatible so you really can connect virtually any device. • Recommended Replacement of Furrion DV1200
I suggest you replace your current unit. The Furrion RV Stereo, # DV1230BL is a good option as a replacement for your current DV1200 and a rather straight forward installation. It is not however a direct plug-in installation as the plugs are different. The complete Instruction Manual is linked below. In order to upgrade from the Furrion RV Stereo part # DV3100 which is a single din to a double din such as the Furrion RV Stereo part # DV1230BL you will need to remove the plug from the old harness and splice in the one that comes with the new stereo. That said, the wires are all labeled so this will not be nearly as hard as it sounds. The only thing you'll need for this are butt connectors part # DW05744-10 and wire strippers. • Recommended RV Stereo With 3-Zones, 8 Speakers and Sub-Woofer
Yes, the Furrion RV Stereo, # DV1230BL does have a connection for a subwoofer and a 3-Zone output. But only allows for up to 6 speakers to be connected. While this will not be a plug and play install mating to your current connectors, it has easy to follow installation instructions and wiring schematic. • Zone Wattage Ratings For The Furrion RV Stereo # DV1230BL
Zone 3 of the Furrion RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # DV1230BL would be the two speakers at 15w and Zones 1 and 2 would be the 4 speakers at 25w. Zone 3 can be managed independently so that the music can differ from what's being played inside the trailer. With your trailer being opposite of most trailers the best option is going to be wiring Zone 1 and 2 to the outside speakers and Zone 3 to the interior speakers so that you can separate the audio. • Furrion Upgraded RV Stereo Head Unit Recommendation for DV3300
We have really great head units you can use to upgrade from your Furrion DV3300 but Furrion no longer uses the style of connector that the DV3300 came with so it wouldn't be a plug and play install. The part # DV1230BL is the upgraded successor to what you have and would be a really great option as long as you don't mind some minor splicing.
