If your camper doesn't have a toilet, or if you simply want to avoid a bathroom emergency, this portable camping toilet provides a fast and easy way to take care of your business. The easy-to-use handle and flush button let you flush waste into the holding tank. And the the built-in valve seals off the toilet bowl to keep any nasty odors firmly sealed in the tank. Also, the tank indicator meter lets you know when it's time to dump the holding tank. And the durable polyethylene construction can handle harsh outdoor environments.
Before use, this toilet will need to be filled with water and pressurized so that waste can be drawn into the holding tank when you flush. Fortunately, the easy-to-access hole in the top of the toilet lets you fill it with water in seconds. Then just use the built-in air pump to pressurize the tank.
Before pressurizing, you can also pour deodorizer (DOM62FR - sold separately) directly into the holding tank to help break down waste and eliminate odors.
When you're ready to flush, pull the release handle to open the valve. Push the flush button and the pressurized air from the pump will draw water into the bowl, flushing waste into the holding tank. When all of the waste is removed, push the handle back in to close the valve. This valve will seal off the tank to keep any odors from escaping.
Thanks to the convenient tank indicator, you'll know when it's time to dump the holding tank. When the indicator reads full, disconnect the bowl from the holding tank by pulling the latch on the back of the toilet.
Rotate the pivoting spout out and empty the tank into your campsite's waste disposal area. Rinse the tank out, then reattach it to the bowl.

I have bought from them before and was always satisfied but my last experience was was memorable!
Bridget (Customer service representative) was very responsive and a pleasure to do business with . I needed my product in a hurry and she made sure that it happened!
I would highly recommend this company!!!
The portable commode is what we needed. This is a temporary step in the renovation of or Airstream Trailer. The quality of the product is good, easy to clean and operate. We like the push button flush feature of this model because it's simple and quiet.
This unit totally lives up to all the claims! Easy to use, easy to maintain, does not leak, does not smell (we use Dometic RV Holding Tank Treatment Solution), and is easy to empty out! We got this for our Teardrop trailer, and love it! In the attached pictures (don't tend to take a lot of pictures of the toilet) one shows it stowed for travel, the other "shows" it barely visible while set up for use in the side tent ,
We have been very pleased with this.

Still pleased. Light and easy to clean.
I have used this unit in my van for 1 year for both male and female travelers, and I keep it in my van at all times. This product has design flaws: it will spill sewage under certain conditions when trying to dump it, and it is incredibly difficult to carry with waste inside. It is difficult to take apart into the 2 halves to dump it, and it is difficult to tell if it is fully latched back together after joining the top to the bottom (note: it is important to know, to avoid any nasty leaks!). There are not enough grip points or handles on the outside of either half, especially the bottom half, and the plastic is slippery. The vent knob does not have prominent enough marking to indicate which position it is in (open or closed, where accidentally leaving open can lead to bad smells or leaks). The last thing and the worst thing with these units is to have ANY possibility of spillage! (Nasty, smelly, unhygienic.) It is impossible to fully empty, because the bottom tank seems to have some baffling or plastic lip inside (perhaps to limit sloshing) yet results in some amount of material or liquid always being unable to empty out. The top lid continually pops off its hinges when opened because it is not designed to rotate or attach well when open.
It seems all of these portables are garbage; where are the modern competitive designs which use a separation style, to isolate the solid waste and liquid waste? (There are 2 name-brand manufacturers who make that style, and they are ridiculously expensive for essentially a segmented bowl going to two separate containers.) If liquids (i.e. "the number 1") could be separated into a separate tank, then it would be much less nasty to empty, and easier too. Where are the product engineers who actually use what they design and therefore see that what they designed is annoying, outdated junk? Unfortunately there are no good options to this product. This unit is far more expensive than a bucket (10x the cost), more unsafe than a bucket, while offering only one good feature: it has a lever to open and close the drain after use with a well-sealed gasket.
The worst thing of all is that there is no option or availability of a bidet feature. When off-grid or traveling the absolute best way to keep fresh is to use a bidet but neither this nor any other unit offer a bidet function; I end up using some type of empty plastic bottle to spray or pour water where it needs to go to freshen up. I am very disappointed in Dometic (and other brands too) for offering this clunky, outdated junk. It is as if no product manager at Dometic ever "had to go" or ever try carrying & emptying this unit into a park restroom facility. Imagine trying to empty this while holding it over a toilet in a public restroom facility while also trying not to touch anything in the unclean restroom facility? Yuck.
For those on a budget, I would avoid buying this unit or any others like it, and instead simply go to the hardware store and get a plastic bucket with a water-tight lid, and a generic wood toilet seat. Sew some nice looking washable fabric around the bucket for nice appearance. Fasten the seat to the bucket by stitching up some webbing with quick-release clips (clips like on a backpack). The result will be far safer and easier to use, and to dump, it will be essentially the same as these Dometics, and will even look better too.
Me and my family love it, it has help us with all of our kids that are girls and my wife. We have a van and we take it with us all over and never have to use public restrooms again. When we go to Fishing trips we don’t have to back up and go somewhere to use the restroom. We just go right in the van. Thank yall God bless!

Its still the BEST toilet that we have bought. Still like New and we use it all the time on the road. Just went to ILLINOIS that was a 13hr trip and did not have to use restrooms anywhere. Our whole family says its better to use your on the going in public restrooms.
Toilet functions well and just held up for 3 days / 2 nights with three families (12 people) though it was completely full by the end. The plunger flap busted (probably from one of my kids, but I'm not pointing fingers) and now does not seat properly when the valve is closed. It doesn't appear that there is a replacement part for only the valve plunger and you have to order the entire holding tank. Also, can't seem to find a source that will sell just the holding tank... However, great toilet.
Really solid quality product and fast shipping from e-trailer. We used it many times while boondocking and camping. Everything works as expected and the dump and cleaning features are well thought out. Was a lifesaver for the squaredrop off road (read no bathroom) camper. Just put up a potty tent and it all worked well. Although I've upgraded campers, I am keeping the toilet for boating.
This is a good emergency travel toilet or for use as a "chamber pot" in a shared bathroom situation but not for regular use as an RV toilet or marine toilet. The plastic used in its construction is of a much lighter weight and the hinges and hardware less robust than the older model. Domestic/Sealand Porta Potties
Dometic makes sum quality [stuff] ! Used their products for years with no issues at all . Great little accessory to add to any van / truck or self built camper ! If ya gotta go why lean on a tree ?
It's a dandy portable toilet for my camper van. The flush works well. Easy to fill the rinse tank and not too bad emptying the holding tank. I have it in a closed cupboard and there is no odor from it.
As described
Very fast shipping A++ +++
The Dometic portable camping toilet arrived quickly and in perfect condition. We haven't had an opportunity to take it camping yet but we are happy to have it as reviews are very positive.
Very pleased with the customer service, communication and delivery. Putting together a van build and believe this will work great. Have not tested the toilet yet.
We purchased this to provide facilities while pontooning on the lake during covid 19 closures. We placed it in the dressing room. Worked perfectly.
Have not used it yet but from the practice run it seems to be a very sturdy and well made. I’m now looking forward to camping this summer. My wife already loves me again.
The delivery was just as they said right on time. Thank you etrailer
Holding tank treatment was leaking from bottle.
My husband and I travel in a semi for work and this portable toilet has been a lifesaver to say the least! I highly recommend it to all! Also, this company has it shipped to us in no time.
Just what we were looking for in a RV t oilet.
Tips for review said “ How do you plan on using it and what problem did it solve. “LOL. Very nice workmanship and good instructions. only an inch lower than my house toilet. Thumbs up.
Always doing business with you is a ple asure
It is what it is....haven't tried it yet. Looks to be good quality though. Dometic products are usually top notch anyway.
installed in class b diy van good quali ty
With the size of the base, Instead of tapering in to the seat designers could have made the seat larger without changing overall size. Other than that, well made.
Exactly what I thought I was going to get after having watched [online] video clip on complete usage

We seem to be only happier the longer we own and use this product!! Its not only great for camping, but has come in handy at least once when our bathroom was being remodeled, and the nearest working toilet was downstairs!! Oh yeah ... put right in the bedroom for convenient midnight rendezvous! hahaha! Back in the trailer now. :
