Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Dometic white Penguin II 15,000 BTU, multi-zone, high-capacity RV air conditioner with heat pump. Now this air conditioner unit is going to let you replace, upgrade or add a new Dometic Penguin II air conditioner to your RV or camper. And this features an ultra low-profile design that's going to minimize wind-resistance and improve the fuel efficiency and overhead clearance. And this 15,000 BTU per-hour air conditioner is going to quickly and efficiently cool the inside of your RV or camper.

This is going to be compatible with ducted and ductless systems and this is designed for motor homes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. However, I do wanna point out that this has not been approved for use on school buses, food trucks, enclosed utility trailers or off-roading vehicles. Just to make you aware of that. This is going to be a bolt-on installation. However, the hardware is not included and the CCCII thermostat and air distribution box is sold separately from this.

So those are additional items you would have to pick up for this to operate as intended. Now this is going to fit roofs from 1.5 to 6 inches thick and an opening size of 14 1/4 inches long by 14 1/4 inches wide. And looking at the measurements of the unit itself, measuring the overall length from end to end, we're sitting about 40.5 inches long. The overall width, again from end to end, about 29 inches wide. The overall height from top to bottom, about 11 1/4 inches tall, and this unit weighs a little over 97 pounds.

And I went ahead and removed the screws that holds this cover into place, just so I could more easily and quickly remove the cover just to give you a view of the inside. So let me carefully put my cover down here on the floor just to give you a view of the inside. I'm gonna go up for a closer angle there and I'm gonna just go ahead and bring this around so you can get a good view of the inside from that angle. And then I'm gonna bring this back around and I wanna give you an overhead view just so you have another view of the inside as well. Now this air conditioner features a high-performance motor and a fan that will provide sufficient air flow.

The enhanced cooling performance is going to evenly distribute the cool air throughout your RV to eliminate hotspots. This does have an internal heat pump that you can possibly see there from that angle, but that internal heat pump is gonna be great for cooler weather, sending warm air into your RV and pumping the chilled air to the outside. This features quiet operation that's going to assure a more peaceful atmosphere than traditional air conditioner units. And the efficient design is going to require less refrigerant than traditional AC units. And so that's gonna help reduce the operational costs. This uses the R-410A refrigerant. And then lemme go back to my closer angle there. I'm gonna go ahead and replace the cover here. This is a hard (hand knocks) plastic cover. Again, it's in white. We do also carry this same air conditioner with a black cover. Everything will be the same except with a black cover instead of a white, and you can find that here etrailer.com. So I'm just gonna pop this onto place. In place rather. But this is going to be very easy to remove if you need to do some cleaning or some maintenance. All you're gonna have to do is remove these four Phillips head screws and then that's gonna allow you to easily pop this cover on and off, which is gonna be great. But I think the cover's gonna do a great job of protecting the internal components from water and debris. This does feature a ribbed base plan, base pan rather, that will provide stability and reduce vibration. Foam seals are gonna prevent heat transfer. These have foam pads at the bottom. And I wanted to give you a view of the wiring harness. We've got quite a few different connections here and I think I have them all out here, but just wanted to give you a view of that harness. Of course, instructions will guide you through the installation process. We'll also have this pigtail as well. This has been UL-certified. And I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today.
