  • Extra Long Adjustable Ball Mount Recommendation for Towing a Trailer
The best option we have for this is the 22K BulletProof Hitches 2-Ball Mount # HD208 which offers a 9-1/4" drop or 9-1/2" rise and measures 15-3/8" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball. I also recommend securing your investment with a locking hitch pin like part # 34061074-D which is just for the shank or part # 34061674-D which is for the shank and the ball mount platform. Attached are some review videos for you to check out.

  • etrailer Trailer Hitch Fitment on a 1995 Chevy S-10 for Light Duty Trailer Towing
Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e44KR fits your 1995 Chevy S-10 and is rated to tow up to 4,000 lbs with a 400 lb tongue weight. I really like this hitch because of the matte black finish that not only looks more rugged but is also more durable than the classic glossy black finish against road debris. The next thing you need for your towing setup you also need the Curt T-Connector Wiring # C55312 and mounting brackets # 18144 and # C57202. This gives you a way to place the wiring...

  • Adjustable Ball Mount with 1-7/8 and 2 Inch Balls
We do have some adjustable ball mounts that feature a 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch ball. We have Rapid Hitch # AM3411. We also have some with 3 balls (1-7/8, 2, and 2-5/16 inch) including # D900 and # 3371802225. I have included some links to videos for you.

  • Recommended Hitch and Wiring to Tow 3500-lbs Trailer with 2021 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C93CR that fits the 2021 VW Atlas Cross Sport has a maximum towing capacity of 5000-lbs (the same as your 2021 VW Atlas), so this hitch is rated just fine to tow a 3500-lbs trailer and will do a good job. Curt hitches have a thicker powder coat than some others on the market, which helps protect the hitch from nicks that might lead to rust and corrosion on the hitch, so it's generally what I recommend using. If you DO NOT have...

  • Adjustable Ball Mount that Comes with a 1-7/8 Inch Diameter Trailer Hitch Ball
Adjustable ball mount # C45900 does not have a 1-7/8 inch ball option but I do have a recommendation for you. Check out the adjustable ball mount with a tri-ball attachment, # D900. It has a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, and 2-5/16 inch ball.

  • Longer Adjustable Ball Mount Recommendation for Better Jack/Tailgate Clearance
The issue with hitch extenders is that they end up cutting the capacity of the hitch they are installed in by 50 percent due to the extra length and movement in the hitch. So with that in mind there isn't a hitch extender we can offer that will give you the length you need and not cause issues with weight capacity. Plus none of them have the weight capacity you need either. Best option is a longer adjustable ball mount to get you the length you need like with the Curt Multi Ball Mount...

  • Parts Needed to Tow a Boat Trailer with a 2016 Honda Pilot
To start, you can use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13146 you were looking at, and it's a great choice because of the durable powder coating and strong design. In addition to the hitch/receiver, you'll also need a wiring harness, ball mount, hitch ball, hitch pin and clip. For a wiring harness I recommend using the Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness # 118760, which offers a simple, plug and play installation and gives you a 4 way trailer plug on your 2016 Honda...

  • Will the Replacement 2" Receiver for Curt Multi-Ball Ball Mount Work With Weight Distribution Shank
In regards to the Replacement 2" Receiver for Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount part # C45802 which is a replacement for the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches part # D900, the two holes are spaced 2-1/2" apart so it will work on a weight distribution shank, you'd just need the Replacement Tri-Ball for Curt Adjustable Ball Mount part # C45800.

  • Can a Ball Mount Be Used In Place of the Tri-Ball On the Curt Multi-Ball Ball Mount
I do have an option for you but the Replacement 2" Receiver part # C45802 does not accept a standard ball mount. It only works with the Replacement Tri-Ball part # C45800 which when combined with the Replacement Shank part # C45059 would give you the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount part # D900. In other words, you cannot use a standard ball mount in place of the tri-ball on the Curt Multi-Ball Ball Mount. If this is not what you are asking please just let me know. If you are looking...

  • Distance From Hitch Pin Hole To Gusset on Curt D900
The distance from the hitch pin hole to where the gusset meets the shank on the Curt # D900 is 4-1/4". Whether or not this will work will depend on how far down your hitch hangs. The greatest amount of clearance from the hitch pin hole is 7" in the rise position. I have attached a picture showing these measurements as well as others for your reference.

  • Will the CURT # D900 Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount Work on a 2005 Jeep Liberty at Maximum Rise
I produced a short video and added dimensions to a photo for you so that you could measure and be sure the CURT Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount, # D900, would work on your 2005 Jeep Liberty with rear mounted spare tire. The most critical measurements are going to be measurement A and E, see photo. • Recommendations for an Adjustable Ball Mount with 3 Balls
We have several 3-ball ball mounts. Curt # D900 is a popular option. Buyers Products makes a similar model, # 3371802225. It is most likely one of these two you are thinking of. But I also included a link to all of the 3-ball mounts that we carry and links to some video reviews.

  • Is Trailer Hitch Tongue Weight Capacity Significantly Reduced when Using An Adjustable Ball Mount
When using the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount, # D900, you should not have any problems as long as you stay within the capacities of the ball mount, trailer hitch, and your 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500. The D900 is constructed of solid steel which compensates for its length. Tongue weight could be an issue here. There are measures you can take to decrease the tongue weight such as moving more of the load towards the back of the trailer until the tongue weight is 10 to 15 percent of...

  • Extension For Towing a Horse Trailer Behind a 2007 Chevy 3500 With Camper In Bed
I have something that may work for you as using a 12" Extension # 3371804015 will reduce your receiver capacity by 1/3rd. So with a maximum trailer weight of 7,500lbs on the receiver you would only be able to tow up to 5,000 with the extension. The Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount # D900 is adjustable and will not reduce your towing capacity. This hitch has a length of 15-3/4" from the center of the receiver pin hole to the center of the hitch ball. This is our longest ball mount...

  • Is the Curt Adjustable Multi-Ball Ball Mount Compatible with a Surge Coupler
Yes, you can use the Curt multi-ball adjustable ball mount # D900 with a trailer that has surge brakes. There may be a little more movement associated with this ball mount since it is pinned in so many locations but that would not cause any problems with a surge coupler. If you want something more stable then you could use something like # C62KR but it is not adjustable. Or for something that would be more stable and still offer adjustability you could use # BWTS10048B.

  • Comparing the Curt Tri-Ball Mount D900 and Buyers Products Tri-Ball Mount 3371802225
The Buyers Products Adjustable Tri-Ball Hitch part # 3371802225 and the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount part # D900 are both very similar. The main difference as you mentioned is that the Buyers Products Ball Mount has a longer shank which then allows for more rise/drop adjustments. The more rise/drop adjustments you have, the greater number of trailers you can tow level. In regards to the manufacturer, both Curt and Buyers Products are reputable brands so I would not let this alone...

The distance between the bolt holes for the Replacement 2" Receiver for Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount # C45802 is 2-5/8" on center. Since that same measurement for the MaxxTow Adjustable-Height Ball Mount MT70067 is 1-1/2" on center (3" for every other bolt hole) they are not compatible with each other.
