Hello, everybody This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the CE Smith 3 1/2 Inch Long Shackle Bolt with the Lock Nuts for a quantity of two. Now these are 9/16 diameter shackle bolts. These are used to mount your leaf spring to the spring hanger bracket or the equalizers. It is a fluted shank right here that keeps the bolt from turning in the bracket and wearing the bracket out. It is a grade 5 steel bolt.
It is for a quantity of two, and it does include the lock nuts to secure the bolt in place. A few specs on this again. We mentioned diameter 9/16 inch. The length, which is always measured from under the bolt head, is right at 3 1/2 inches long, and the threads is 18 threads per inch.
