Today we're going to be taking a look at product number CE17720. This is the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender. The curved fender is going to cover one tire on your single axle trailer. Fenders are going act as a splash guard, keeping road debris from hitting other vehicles that are on the road. It's also going to help protect whatever it is you're hauling in your trailer's cargo area. Now this fender is going to made of a sturdy 16 gauge steel construction. Very strong and durable.
It can be primed and then painted to provide resistance to rust and corrosion and also to match your trailer's paint finish. When it comes to the installation you can either weld this on or it can be bolted on. I do want to point out that there's not any pre-drilled bolt holes and that the mounting brackets that you would need for a bolt-on installation are going to be sold separately. You can find those right here at etrailer.com. This product is made right here in the USA. Again, it's designed for single axle trailers with 12 inch diameter wheels.
We're going to take a measurement of the overall length. From edge to edge it's going to give us a measurement of 22 1/2 inches. Overall height, we are looking at about 8 1/2 inches. And then if we take a look at the overall width, edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 7 inches wide. With this part number you're going to get 1 fender, and the fender itself is going to weigh 4 1/2 pounds. That's going to do it for today's look at product number CE17720..

Fender was a great substitute to replace my rotted out fender that came with the trailer which is close to 30 years old I ended up cutting the old one off the mounting brackets and modifying the new fender by cutting out some areas to fit in to the mounting bracket came out great so I now have new fenders on an old trailer and I still have to paint them up

Its been a year and these fenders are a heavier gauge of steel than the original ones and will outlast the life of the trailer it was a great investment to keep the trailer in great working condition and to be able to pass safety inspections and be a safe piece of equipment on the road for everyone well worth it and thank you for these great fender replacements e-trailer

Beautifully
Replacing fenders on a 2004 Snowbear trailer. The length of the curvature is a bit short, it is not 180 degrees thus requiring some modification/extension to fit. Somewhat disappointed.
All the materials I received from E-Trailer were well made and easy to install.
It was also easy to navigate the website to find exactly what I needed,
and the prices were the best I could find anywhere.
I highly recommend etrailer.

These finders were a perfect replacement for my damaged fender. Drilled two holes in them and bolted them into place. Painted them to match my trailer and they work great.
Great quality! Make sure to order a set of brackets! Just got them installed and painted this evening. Final touch on the trailer before starting on the boat.

Very sturdy. Looks much better on my Teardrop trailer build than the square fenders that came with the trailer kit
Good heavy duty brackets worked great with the new fenders. The old fenders vibrated and broke due to metal fatigue but this setup won't have that problem.

I did it right as to priming and painting and they look great and function perfectly!
This fender is a brute! I was worried that the thickness of the metal wouldn't be enough to be sturdy. Well worry no more! This is just what I was looking for, very strong and rugged. I hated to drill holes in it, for the mounting brackets. The finish is very smooth. It should accept paint, for a great look. The radius of the fender is a perfect match for 12 inch tires. The 7 inch width is not to big and not to small, it is just right. Thank-you etrailer for such a great product!

I was amazed that my trailer fenders arrived so quickly. They were well-packed and arrived without a blemish. I am in the process of converting my small trailer into a custom kayak trailer so I have not yet installed the fenders. The shape, size, and design are perfect and I was surprised (in a favorable way) by the weight of the fenders. I highly recommend etrailers for all your trailer needs.

So I have a small boat trailer and was going to try and save a little cash by ordering just one fender, then cutting it in half to make two. .well I like the looks of the whole fender so I'm ordering another one so it will look correct. Thx.
