Hitch did not mount as described in video. Had to pay extra for shop having to fish for bolts unlike factory hitch. However, after installation hitch works well.

Fit and finish is great I just wish it would have the adapter for the seven way pin as once I installed it. It’s kind of cumbersome to have it be in the way, but I would recommend buying this hitch for your jeep grand Cherokee L model for sure.

I didn't actually mean to send the review back. I wasn't exactly sure how to respond to it. I've had great success working with your company in the past and always have received exceptional customer service. This particular order came to me in a very ripped up box with the harness loose in the box missing some of the hardware for it. I don't think it was your fault. It may fall on UPS. However the hitch was not very well packed in the box to begin with so I could see how it could have happened. Overall I've had great luck with your company. I would like to attach a few pictures so you know how I received it.

The hitch works perfectly and is 5 starts by itself. Removed a stat because it was supposed to come with 6 mounting bolts. Instead i got 5 bolts and a bolt blank that didn’t have any threads cut into it. Apparently quality control was on a break at that time. Otherwise the hitch is great.

Instructions are easy to follow. -1 star just because I couldn't use OEM bolts and had to use attached. I don't understand the reason why.

If the manufacturer puts in new hardware in a hitch receiver kit, it is always best to use it because that is the hardware that they have tested their product with. They know that you should be able to torque the half inch hardware to 110 ft lbs and the 5 sixteenths hardware to 178 in lbs.

This hitch is the only way to go. Looks like Jeep original as it replaces the existing Grand Cherokee Limited bumper. etrailer/Curt provides very good instructions for installation. I use mine to hold a bicycle rack but it can provide minimal towing (Class III) capability as well. Great customer service from etrailer.

Fit perfectly on my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (without factory towing package). A little difficult to carefully remove the rear body panels (videos were great), but once you get to it, the old one comes out and new one fits perfectly.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WL – new body
I installed the hitch and rear wire harness, I still need to run the 12v supply. I am a retired technician that worked at the Chrysler Tech Center so I am very familiar with doing this type of work. The installation took 1 1/2 hours and had no issues, the hitch and harness are excellent quality and fit perfectly. It is a lot easier to install the wiring with the facia removed. I guess that if I had to complain, they should have a place to screw the wiring module and ground on the hitch itself. The delivery was fast and free and much cheaper than the dealership, I would highly recommend them. Thanks etrailer!

I am happy to read that you are pleased with your purchase! You could try looping the rubber cap through the safety chain loop, or you might like part # 306-X6019 which is a magnetic bracket that you could put on the side of the receiver tube.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L
Good product but handling not great. Box was torn and product chipped down to the metal in multiple places. I was given a paint credit and of course this isn’t the fault of etrailer but really the shipping company. This was my fourth order so i do respect this company and support them.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WL - new body
Installed on a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and it fit perfectly! The video instructions were extremely helpful.
I wish I had taken photo/video to share, but it would be helpful to update the instructional video to include or show the clips on the back of the fascia that needs to be removed. Overall excellent product and not as difficult of an install as I thought it'd be!
