Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in the rear cargo area. You will have to remove the cargo storage tray and back-trim flap to access the connection point for the harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Hello again, neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this CURT T-connector vehicle wiring harness with the four pole flat trailer connector. Now this is a custom fit part. It does fit 2022 to current Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60s without the factory tow package. So with anything at etrailer.com, it's a custom fit. Always, always go to our website, go to the year, make and model on our fit guide, make sure you're getting the right part the first time for your particular vehicle.
Now this kit is gonna provide a four-way flat trailer connector to the back of your vehicle's turn signals, and that's the four-way connector right there. Comes with a nice rubber cover that would go over this. It's got everything you see here, the zip ties, the foam pad to keep stuff protected from rubbing, the different connectors you need, set of instructions. Now this will provide a four-way flat trailer connector to the back of your vehicle to use your trailer signal lights. It is compatible with five pole, six pole, and seven pole adapters, which are sold separately.
It's gonna connect very quick and easy. There's no cutting or splicing the wires. Everything's located inside the cargo area and behind the rear bumper. Does have a one year warranty. And like I said, this fit is gonna be a custom fit.
So again, it's gonna plug into your vehicle's wiring harness. So you'll basically remove the cargo storage tray located in the rear cargo area of your vehicle. There'll be a back trim flap that you'll pop out to access the connection point. And these simply just plug in place. It's very, very simple.
Once the installation is complete, the four-way connector here will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near your trailer hitch. So I recommend getting a mounting bracket. Those are sold separately. You can find them on etrailer.com, and that will help keep that connector up outta the way or tight against the hitch so you never have to worry about losing it or it just kind of getting lost up under there. Package arrived via UPS in good shape (no damage what so ever). I installed the hitch and wiring harness myself in one hour and 15 minutes. Everything fit perfectly. Not a hard install at all but I'm a gearhead with a lot of tools so it made the install easier. Would have definitely been easier with another set of hands but one person can do it.
