The B&W Tow & Stow adjustable ball mount lets you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights. Having a 1-7/8" ball, a 2" ball and a 2-5/16" ball allows for even more versatility, making this the ultimate go-to ball mount if you own multiple trailers.
To switch the hitch ball, simply remove the pin holding the balls in place and rotate the entire block that the balls are mounted on until the ball you want to use is on top. Then replace the pin to secure the block in place.
Adjusting the height of the ball is just as easy. Remove the pins holding the ball mount platform in place and slide the platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Once you have found the correct height, reinsert the pins and replace the clips.
When you're not towing, you can flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang your shins. Just remove the pins to slide the ball platform down along the channel and up the back side so that the hitch balls face towards your vehicle. Then replace the pins.
The Tow & Stow ball mount features a channel that runs along both sides of the shank. This channel not only allows you to slide the ball mount platform up and down to adjust the ball height, but it also prevents removal of the platform when the ball mount is installed, which will help prevent theft of your trailer.
A slot is cut into the adjustment channel near the top of the shank. To remove the ball mount platform from the shank you will need to remove the entire ball mount from your hitch. Then remove the pins that hold the platform in place. Flip the platform around to the stowed position on the rear of the shank, and then slide it up until the center pin lines up with the slot in the shank. Pull the platform out towards the rear of the shank until the pin pops out of the adjustment channel.
When the Tow & Stow is secured in your hitch receiver, you will not be able to remove the ball mount platform. This is because the slot in the shank is positioned in such a way that the collar on your hitch will block the pin on the platform from being able to leave the channel. Even if the pins holding the ball mount platform in place are removed, the platform will still be confined to this channel. So, as long as a hitch lock is used to secure the entire ball mount in your hitch receiver, and a coupler lock is used to prevent your trailer's coupler from being disengaged from the ball, your trailer will be secure.

I love this hitch. With a locking pin, it stays on my truck all the time. Here’s why:
Height adjustment. This truck was tall when I bought it, so I needed the drop for my trailers to ride level.
3 balls. We have 3 trailers of different sizes and weights, so all 3 balls get used.
And a step! Even when not towing, I use this step to access the bed all the time.
Fits my 3” receiver without an adapter.
Spend the money and you will have no regrets down the road.

Best hitch I've ever bought. This thing is amazing. It works for every trailer I've ever towed and looks great on the back of the truck unlike other manufacturers hitches. It has not rusted but I do wash the truck including this hitch every week. I live in the Salt band so that says alot. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid 1 time buy set up.

Absolutely wonderful! Super heavy duty! I haul around my heavy duty dump trailer with 15-20k pounds in it and this hitch can withstand anything. I have it turned upward instead of downward to lift up the trailer a little higher to help with sag on my truck from the weight. I also love the ability to stow it however I never use that feature cause I’m always towing.

Arrived in a timely manner and the product is exactly what I was looking for, great buy
I originally ordered a Weigh Safe hitch, thinking it would rotate under the receiver when not needed, but it does not. I ordered this B&W that does so perfectly. My garage is barely long enough for the pickup and moving the ball into stow position prevents me having to remove it every time I pull into the garage. It would be too easy to be stolen if left loose in the back and in case if an accident I wouldn't want that hitch flying around inside the cab.
Horrible shipping. No box for the mount, and it was thrown into a much larger box with other metal brackets and straps with metal buckles so the B&W hitch got all scratched up, and it is missing a spring clip. Ugh.

This hitch eliminates the spacers necessary on the 3” receiver doing away with the slop and noise that comes with them. I would recommend this hitch to anyone with a heavy duty truck with the 3” receiver.
Excellent quality. Nice looking and functions well. No second guesses about buying this item. Highly recommend it.

I bought this hitch due to it having a 3” shank and fitting into my receiver. I really love it’s versatility of having all 3 main sizes in one place and being able to leave in the receiver and not have to worry about breaking your shin because it ticks up and out of the way.
Simply put, I love the hitch and it’s a fantastic product that I’d recommend to anyone looking.
The product is fantastic. Was not thrilled about how it showed up though.Caked in dust, not a problem. But water seemed to sit inside it at some point so the inside already had rusted.
