Using this hitch to pull a horse trailer with a Chevy Silverado with the factory puck system. Couldn’t be any easier to use and has performed flawlessly. Worth every penny.

This is a well build gooseneck ball and safety chain attachment for my truck.
The ball does not fit my truck puck, despite being made for/compatible with it based on brand, year and model. etrailer provided # for B&W directly. Customer service at both companies has been excellent so far. Awaiting replacement ball from B&W which they shipped over night express. Hoping it fits. The product itself is very heavy and appears well made and easy to use.

Works great for hooking up to our gooseneck trailers and hauling hay bales.
hitch seems a little loose in the socket, have not hooked trailer to it yet to see if it bangs around. going to love having the handle so your hands dont get greasy.

You know what they say, "Hand Hygiene: Our First Line of Defense." As for the loose ball in the socket, you shouldn't have to worry about that at all. I have even confirmed with the manufacturer that the reason that there is more slack with the OEM ball is due to the ball bearing locking mechanism. The factory prep package uses a ball bearing locking mechanism that will allow anything in the socket to spin freely. I have double-checked with the manufacturer that the movement will not cause any issues while in use. The movement is normal and must happen with the ball bearing system. If it were set to be any tighter, you risk the ball seizing.

This has worked very good for me. Easy to use and works fine with the 5th wheel hitch I have. This makes it easier taking my hitch out and didn't have to have brackets installed in my truck. Leaves the bed flat for other uses. Had a lot of good help from everyone I talked to at etrailer.
This has been a very useful hitch. The ball is easy to install and remove to have my full bed available for use. The safety chain anchors actually fit the safety chains hooks.
My shipment was on time and was Exactly what I order I will be ordering again .

Love this B&W and Safety Chain Kit
I just received b&w gooseneck hitch and looks great.i removed it from the package tried it in the bed and it fits great.
The goosneck system is easy to use and you don't have to get your hands greasy while handling the ball. The case is a nice touch as well.
I bought this one over the Curt because the video reviewer thought this unit was a tighter fit into the platform. The one I got is somewhat loose in the new Chevy I have, so I don't know if the ball is undersize or the truck is oversize. I guess I need to look for some specs somewhere. Otherwise the parts look great. Hope to be using them soon. Nice to have a good carrying case, so I store these hitch parts in the camper until I use them.

After about a year, I couldn’t bear having the ball running loose in the receiver so I welded it and turned it back down in a lathe. Now it fits snugly in my truck. I also added a bump on the flank and drilled a matching dent in the truck side so it will no longer rotate or spin around while towing. These are my two major complaints with this setup.
