With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.
The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.
When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.
Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.
Simple, Custom Installation
This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.
B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

After having this hitch for a year I can’t say I’m too impressed. They claim the powdercoat on it is durable, but after only a year there’s already spots of rust. The pictures I’ve included are only showing a few spots I’ve noticed. I painted the pieces that sit against my frame with frame paint in hopes that doesn’t rust either. But the outside facing pieces, I haven’t touched. My truck is stored in the winter and the hitch hasn’t even been used yet since purchase. I’m sure it performs well since my last gooseneck hitch was B&W. But as for durability, I don’t think they do as well anymore. It shouldn’t be this rusty only after a year, being stored, not seeing salt or even being used.
Product arrived in a timely manner, although it took awhile I was able to install it completely by myself. It was sturdy and looked good, fit well and went together nicely. I used it the next day to bring home a trailer a friend had gifted me. The turnover feature is really great, when not used the hitch ball is turned over, I put the truck bedliner back in and you do not even know it is there.
The product is great. However the shipment process and commitment to the customer leaves allot to be desired. They used UPS to deliver the hitch but only one of two boxes was delivered (no mounting hardware or brackets. This makes the rest of the product useless. When I contacted them the response was basically requesting a UPS investigation and indicating I should file a police report to show I didn't steal the box. They said I could order and pay for a while new set with additional 6 days delivery all at my expense.
They did not and to this day have not provided me with the UPS tracking data. It makes me feel like I have been left out in the cold to solve the issue of their inability to manage their shipping process very disappointed in the lack of ownership of their shipping and delivery process. So great end product if you are will to pay twice for it to receive it.
When I received my order there was no installation instructions for the hitch in the box even though my buddy ordered the same hitch at the same time and his had the instructions included. I then emailed you folks and was told to download the instructions, which I have no way of doing.
I bought this for my son, who moved back to the farm, and bought a good used 2002 Chevy duramax so we would have a second truck to pull cattle trailers and haul hay with a fifth wheel flat bed trailer. The B&W underbed turn over ball hitch mounted great and relatively easily. It has performed excellently. My son likes the turn over ball that allows for full use of the pickup box for other uses.
I have had this brand of turn over ball in three different trucks. Two I installed myself. Wonderful product. Top quality. If I had to “nit pick”, it would be nice if they would include a storage bag to hold the ball when not in use.
B&W, in my book, is the absolute best!
The B&W hitches are the best in the business. I have had 6 of them now from a 92 Dodge, an 07 Dmax, a 2012 HD2500, a 15 Dodge, a 19 HD2500 and a 21 Dmax and now this latest one in an 06 HD2500. I HAVE HAF ZERO ISSUES WITH ALLBOF THESE HITCHES. ZERO!!!!!!!!!.

The customer service from eTrailer is top notch. I ordered my B&W 1067 the day before New Year's Eve. I had it within 5 days including the holiday and weekend.
The B&W 1067 installed pretty easy. I did it myself in about 3 hours. I was lucky that my truck previously had a B&W 1067 installed so I didn't have to drill any holes.
The only complaint that I have is I was short 2 bolts in the hardware bag. I didn't worry with calling eTrailer; I just went and bought new ones.

Works great, easy to use and pulls my trailer without issues.
Package arrived with some damage to the boxes but both Box 1 and Box 2 had all the required components in good condition. Install was relatively simple once we found the YouTube video from B&W, the instructions that B&W sends are lacking. Definitely will do business with etrailer.com again!
I ordered this hitch a year ago, customer service called me to verify the model of my truck and installed my self on a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500hd classic the hitch by far has been the best hitch I’ve owned. I have a 32 foot gosseneck I pull and it’s easy to hook up and holds the weight. The springs on the safety chains still work like it’s new and the best part is if I just need the bed I can pull the pin and filp the ball and have the whole bed

Good quality product from B&W. I do notice with my 30’ flatbed trailer that it has some forward and back play from the square part of the ball attachment when going slow stopping and staring out. Does not seem to be as noticeable with the stock trailer. No safety concern, just some excess movement. Pleased with it overall. Thank you!
A very nice well built hitch. My son and I installed this hitch in 3.5 hours. The instructions were a little vague, but the video that etrailer provided for a 2001 GMC Crew Cab with a short bed, was similar to my 2003, an was very helpful. We removed the rear wheels, and had to cutout a section of heat shield, and cut a v shape in the bed. We didn't have to touch the exhaust, like the video instructed. The braces were a little tight to get in place, but weren't that difficult. We used a tractor, and chain to hold tension on the hitch while we bolted it together. All said and done, I would say make it a 2 man job, and you will be pleased with the results....
A friend recommended adding this hitch when I purchased my 5th wheel RV. It is all he said and then some. Absolutely easy to install and I'm completely satisfied with how it handles my RV. Highly recommend this hitch to anyone considering it. Great product at a great price.

Put it on a 2004 gmc 2500 hd. took a while longer to install but no holes had to be drilled. Boxes must have come apart during shipping but thank god nothing was missing. So far happy with the product
Measure multiple times first then everything is easy after that my first time installing one, did it in about an hour ! Excellent equipment !
