What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com Today we're gonna be checking out these BullRing in bed tie downs. So, these are just gonna go in the spots in your bed to help you tie-down whatever cargo you need. Let's check it out. Now, before you order your BullRing tie-downs, make sure you use our fit guide for your truck. Make sure you get the make and model right. The bed size is important too.
That's gonna depend on the quantity of tie-down points you actually get for your truck. But, when using our fit guide, it's really easy to figure that out. Now, these tie-down points are gonna have a weight rating of 1000 pounds. So, just keep that in mind when you're tying down your gear in the back of the truck. These are a nice addition to your truck just to have higher up tie-down points.
You see that we have a tonneau cover on this one. And the rails are covering up our stake pockets up top, so you can't really use those. We do have some down here but, it never hurts to have extra tie-down points. One of the nice things about these, is they also store. So, you can push it in there when you're not using it.
That way it's out of the way. And then when you gotta pull it out, you can pull it here. You see it doesn't quite click, you have to pull just a little bit more. Hopefully you can hear on the mic and then it stays in position. The construction itself it's gonna have a nylon base here and then the stainless steel attachment point.
So, you don't have to worry about it rust or corroding in the back of your truck. As for installation, it's not that bad. It goes right into place. You just need one screwdriver. Check out how I did it. Installing the tie-down points is really easy. So, what we're gonna do is back out the screw which is gonna loosen up the back portion, so we have the plate. Then actually when you tighten it down, holds up against the backside of the hole which is gonna hold it in place. So, when you go to set it in, make sure that it's facing up. You see how it's got the upward tilt to it Just put it in there. Make sure you get the backing plate behind the hole. We might have to loosen up a little bit more to get that separation. Make sure you tilt it up And then you can kind of angle it in place. It's hard to show you cause there's not much room there. But, I'm getting that metal portion behind the hole so you can just move that around. We got it right there now. You see I can't pull it out. It's keeping it pressed there so I'm gonna tighten it down with my screwdriver. It'll pull out Entire point. And we'll tighten it down. It's tight on there you see. It's not gonna pop out. Now, all we gotta do is repeat that process for the other ones we wanna install on the bed. Overall, I like how easy they are to install. They're very helpful to have in the back of the truck just to make sure you secure whatever you have in there. You've all been there where we throw something in, something kind of heavy, you can't get the right angles on it. You only have two down points and maybe your strap doesn't reach the both of 'em, just doesn't feel secure. That's not fun to drive on a highway like that. I'd rather have all the attachment points to make sure it's tightened down and not going anywhere. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, and hope this helped..

These retractable tie-down anchors for your truck bed stay out of the way when you don't need them and snap out when you're ready to haul. They're perfect for trucks that don't have anchors or that only have anchors on the bed floor.I recently had to deliver some equipment several states away from my home and knew that I would run into some rain on the trip. I tied down a tarp as best as I could with the factory tie down points but were not enough spots to connect any more straps at the cab end or the tailgate. I ended up stopping twice to purchase spider straps along the way to try and keep the load covered and dry. I searched for tie down hooks for my new Chevrolet pickup and found these with good reviews. The installation was a snap and seem very sturdy. I purchased the kit with 9 of the tie downs. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for quality tie downs.
Quick, easy installation. Haven't used yet but should work as described and be nice to have additional tie down points in truck bed.
Love the anchors! Easy to install and are out of the way when not in use and very subtle looking. My truck had a spray on liner so I had to cut to get the body plugs out, but that was more time consuming than anything else.
Installation was easy (though a 3rd hand would help)
Haven't had reason to use them yet but they look like they would spread a load over more sheet metal than the OE tie-downs
I can see a use for a straight angle as an option. I frequently keep a strap running between the two points closest to the tailgate just to keep smaller loads from sliding out of reach. Straight loops would not apply a torque to the bedside when loaded that way.
Easy to install, but watch the 2 1/2 minute video on u-tube. I started off wrong, but the video showed me where I ran off the tracks.
Watched a video on how to install them and it was fairly easy once I figured out much to unscrew them for slack and the best angle to get inner anchor plate to catch. Overall simple and only took a couple minutes for each one. I would have given 5 stars if they were locking. However, in their defense, I couldn't find any on the market that did lock.
I’ve just installed these anchors and have not used them yet. The installation was straight forward, taking only 15 minutes to install all 9.
Removing the screw first, makes the installation a snap.
The anchors are of good quality and once I have a chance to use them I may be able to boost the rating to 5 stars.
Great product
Simple to install and definitely adds to the flexibility of my truck bed. 2024 GMC 2500HD - all 9 fit perfect.
Well made; heavy duty. Look nice and I think they are a great add on for my truck!
Great product, the only thing is in the video, the installer says don't remove the screw, well I listened to him and fought with it for a bit,so I removed the screw and the tie down just wiggled right in,put the screw back in and no problems
East to install, fit perfectly. Makes load stabilization handy.
I just received, very Nice quality, I can't wait to get them on and test them out.
Even easier to install than described. These are a great addition and add the finishing touch to my new GMC 3500 Denali Black Diamond edition truck. Well made and very functional.
Easy to install..
