Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Americana 15 inch by six inch wide, AM03 series black machined aluminum trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight and rust proof. This one we mentioned is the AMO3 series wheel, which as you can see is an open six spoke design in a nice black finish with the machined silver face around the edge of the open spoke. Provides a nice, bold, sleek look.

Now the black finish on this, if you notice, it is a nice, glossy, bright, glossy finish. Has a clear coating on both the front and even on the back of the wheel to protect the finish. Dimension on this wheel is 15 inch diameter, and that's always measured inside the inside. So I just wanted to show you there. We're gonna take a tape measure, and if we go across inside to inside, you'll be able to see there's your 15 inch diameter.

The width on the wheel, this same way we're gonna measure inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. Put a ruler on it. There's your six inches wide. Now a bolt pattern on this is a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel like this that's an even number of lugs, it's pretty easy, because if you'll notice, the lug holes are directly right across from each other.

So all you have to do is pick any hole. Let's say this one. Put a ruler on it, go from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. So the dimension on this one is five and a half inches. So this is gonna be a six lug five and a half inch bolt pattern.

Now the wheel lug size used on this wheel is a half inch by 20. Weight capacity on the wheel is 2,960 pounds. Now one of the features I really like on this wheel is if you look in the lug nut wells where your lug nuts go, they use steel inserts in those lug nut wells. And those are designed to help keep your wheel securely in place on the trailer hub when you tighten your lugs down. This will prevent the holes from elongating or wearing down and eliminates the need for constant re-tightening your lug nuts. If you'll notice, this does not have a center cap. If you do want one, we do sell those separately on our website. When you purchase the center cap to fit this, you do wanna make sure you get one with the correct diameter on the cap 'cause when you install it it'll go through the back of this hole. So the diameter of this pilot hole is 3.74 inches. Now this wheel does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications and the SAE J 2530 standards.
