Note: When servicing your truck with Air Lift air springs installed, if the truck is lifted by the frame, the air must be let out of the springs. And if the rear of the truck is lifted during service, then it must be supported by jack stands to avoid damage to the air springs.
The air springs and jounce springs in this system work together to give you the best ride whether your truck is loaded or unloaded. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs have internal urethane foam jounces that protect the air springs and provide added ride comfort when your air pressure is low. The jounces also allow you to temporarily carry a load if the air springs lose air pressure. This gives your 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, or 1-ton pickup air springs that are easier to maintain.
Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts extra stress on your truck. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even inaccurate and unsafe headlight aim.
By pairing your existing suspension with LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and get the support you need. The springs provide up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity (depending on the weight-carrying capacity of your vehicle) and distribute the weight of your payload to all 4 wheels. As a result, the stress on your factory suspension is significantly reduced. LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated equally for front-to-back leveling or independently of one another for side-to-side leveling.
The air springs are made of high-quality, 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends where the bag is enclosed with steel caps. These caps can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. But the endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air.
The air bags also have Air Lift's exclusive roll plates, which protect the air springs and beef up their load capacity. These sturdy plates help guard the springs from moving parts under your vehicle that might puncture the air bags. The plates also provide a larger surface area for each spring to roll on. The extra surface area gives you a higher spring rate at a lower air pressure, resulting in a better ride.
The closed-cell urethane jounce spring inside each air spring gives you a more stable, comfortable ride. Each jounce acts as an overload spring and engages when your current air pressure level isn't enough to support your load. So on a rough road, the springs will kick in if needed to absorb bumps and shocks and help you to avoid bottoming out. When the jounces support a load, they adjust progressively - the more weight you pile on, the stiffer they become. The urethane material engages more smoothly than rubber jounces so you get a less jerky ride.
Because these jounces are taller than your factory jounce bumpers, they engage sooner than your factory jounces would to provide better support. And if the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs have insufficient or zero air pressure, the internal jounces will help to temporarily support your suspension and protect it from damage until you can repair or adjust the air spring system.
This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump in air through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the manual inflation valves (one for each spring). These are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere that is easily accessible. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately) that allows you to monitor and adjust the springs from the cab of your truck.

This product is great! Easy to install with very good instructions. I tow a 44' long 5th wheel with a F350 with these lifts installed and the truck drives great with no sagging at all! I would recommend installing this lift for anyone who plans on hauling heavy loads.
I am a 63 year old retired refrigeration mechanic and a DYI guy. These were easy to install an are working good took out the sway when my camper is on I also purchased the frame mounted camper tie down
The product was as advertised. Instructions were provided and fairly straightforward. Be sure to jack the frame up high enough to access the area where the airbags go. Be careful when inserting the clips into the frame. I had one that slipped and shot into the inside of the frame and thankfully I had a long handled magnet and retrieved it. One recommendation I have is for the manufacturer to preassemble as much of the product as possible which would minimize the chance of parts being assembled incorrectly. I mounted the valve stems on the bumper on each side of the license plate.
Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 air helper springs have been a great addition for towing and hauling. Relatively easy to install and great operation. I use them weekly without problems.
Tow 11,000 lb. FW witha Ford F250. Love the feel of the Air Lift airbags, and the insurance of the internal jounce bumpers if needed. Over 5,000 miles logged, and still going strong.

Installed in my garage and install went smooth. Look at instructions as slight adjustment based on what suspension you have (sway bar) all went together in one evening

Good fit and all parts were included. Install was by the instructions and video easy to follow.
The air bags work great, I have a 2017 F-350 and I add 40psi of air to the bags and truck is back to level . Ride is smooth and no bounce ,5th wheel hitch weight is 3900 lbs and trailer weighs 16,500lbs unloaded. Even with a 1ton truck the bags save the suspension. Had them on my 1st truck and this one , will do it on my next truck if I keep camping.

Performing as aspected, great product
I had the Air Lifts added by my local Ford dealer and they have worked very well. The only issue I had was the dealer did not seat one of the air lines initially but that was fixed quickly.
I’ve had the airbags for one year on F250 pulling 32foot fifth wheel over 8000 miles. Improved the truck handling, levels the truck as well. I run 5 to 10 psi when empty and 50 psi while pulling. Has been well worth the investment!
I have had the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 system on my 2017 & 2019 and I am going to install this one on my 2022 Super Duty, I have had no issues with this air springs they have worked flawlessly, installation is not hard the instructions are clear easy to follow.
Great product! Easy install. Tech Tip, On my 2018 F250 in order to install the driver side air bag unbolt the lower shock mounting bolt and swing shock up and out of the way.
Have a 2018 28.5 Jayco fifth wheel 1400 LBS pin weight only need 10 psi to level the truck! Rides great!

Ordered and received in two days! Installed today. Took 5 hours which is not bad for a 62 year old with two arthritic shoulders and a bad back. Instruction were followed. I did wrap the carriage bolts on right side to protect the brake line. Will test with RV attached to see how my truck rides.

Over 7K pulling 18K 5th wheel since installing. Both truck & trailer have handled well, especially on the bad section of I-40 between Memphis and east of Nashville. Every truck pulling a trailer needs Air Lift LoadLifters.

This is the second pair of Air Lift Ultra 5000s and associate hardware (extra hose kit and t-fittings). I haven't tested the air bags thoroughly but they seem to be working as designed. Install was pretty easy. The air bags and compressor kit should all me to better manage the weight of our fifth wheel with or F250.
E-trailer is an awesome company to deal with. The ship fast and follow up on orders. Their website is chock full of useful videos and suggestions.
Easy install, they smoothed out the ride on our F350 dually dramatically and eliminated the squat on the truck with the 5th wheel attached. Still want to install the compressor, then it will be complete.
I received the product in a timely fashion. I had a diesel mechanic shop near by install them, he is the one that recommended this product and your company to me initially. He had installed this product on all three of his Dodges, 1500 & 3500 and had been extremely pleased with there performance.
It did take him a little longer to get them installed (he has only installed them on his own Dodges, and mine is a Ford) but he said that they went on as advertised. I really like the remote feature and we are going to pull our 39' travel trailer this weekend so i will have a better feel for them after this weekend, but so far I am completely satisfied with the product and with the service from etrailer.
I ordered the airlift loadlifter5000 kit. The kit was at the house a lot faster then I expected. Assume. The box is in good shape and all of the items are in the kit. But have not installed the kit at. So far good. Thank you
Installation went well. Product works well. Clamps for the heat shield were not adequate. They are not big enough if you have a diesel. The muffler runs the closest to the rubber and the clamps should be bigger. I think I Aligned top and bottom of mounts good enough, but it did take me awhile.
Everything works, haven’t put load on it yet.

Airbags easy to install. I had to cut the bottom of carriage bolt after installation to make sure they did not rub on the anti sway bar.
They worked very well leveling my F350 with a 40 foot 5th wheel attached.

Looks very sturdy. Is as described. Just received so have not installed them yet. I used the same brand on my other truck which after 7 years still is working fine. I use it to level the truck when the 5th wheel RV is being pulled. Selected fee shipping and still received the parts in two days.
