Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Optronics two wire marker light pigtail. This pigtail wiring is for use with sealed marker and clearance utility lights. It features a straight weather-tight plug on this end, which connects to the connection point on the back of the trailer light. The weather-tight design creates a really nice seal at the connection point. It plugs in and what it does is it keeps dirt and moisture away from the connection terminals. On the other end, we'll notice that it's a two-wire design, so we have the bare black wire for power, and then we have the white wire with the ring terminal here on the end.
This is your ground wire, so you can get that grounded to a suitable grounding location using a grounding screw, you can go directly to the framing of your trailer.I did take a measurement of those wires, and from the plug housing right here to the end of the wires, we're looking at about six and a half inches long. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics two wire marker light pigtail.
