Hello neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folk, today we're looking at the Icon trailer coupler lock for a yolk style two inch ball coupler. It's a cast and stainless steel construction with a nice black powder coat and e-coat finish. So folks with this big coupler lock, it will lock down your trailer coupler. And this guy's really big and beefy, so it's gonna deter theft. Weighs about 22 pounds.
No one's gonna want to try to cut this guy off and get to your stuff and we'll keep others from hooking up to your trailer. It fits over Ram, Husky, and etrailer couplers that have a yolk latch. It is constructed of a durable, long lasting, heavy duty hardened cast steel, and it has a radial fence here on the outside that protect and embed the lock inside. That way no one can get to it to cut it, so it's gonna be protected against power tools, those kind of things. And the stainless steel lockup here, you simply unscrew the cap.
That's all one harden heavy duty piece of stainless steel. It's got an O-ring there to keep debris, dirt, and moisture out. You get four sets of these keys. The keys themselves are gonna help resist picking and locking and drilling as well and duplicating because they're like a half moon shape. And what you would do is you put the key in here, unlock it, and then when it's unlocked, then you're able to pull this centerpiece up and out of the way.
There we go. So you can pull this up out of the way. Put it on your coupler, put it back down, lock it in place, and then replace the cap here and you're good to go. It has a nice limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. And again, nice powder coat finish on top of a nice corrosion resistant e-coat that covers everything as well to help protect it and give it long lasting, not only the looks and everything, but just it's not gonna corrode and everything.
Now, as far as the inside here, like I showed you, you're gonna keep gunk debris, dirt, moisture out, but it's also gonna help, you know, there's not many parts inside of this, so it's gonna also provide better security than your standard pin or disc tumbler locks or a disc detainer core and those kind of things. So again, with this specialized key here, it makes it a lot harder to lock pick, even if they figure out that you could twist this off and get to what looks like the keyhole. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up today for our quick look at the Icon trailer coupler lock. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
