This hub-and-drum assembly meets the requirements for certification by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The CSA creates standards, which when complied with ensure a safe and quality product. This assembly underwent extensive testing to measure stopping distances when braking. This assembly has also been tested by QAI for braking performance in a complete automotive setup and under real-world conditions to provide the most realistic scenario for the everyday driver.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

I installed these on a boat trailer. No sign of rust so far.

Cannot recall the exact circumstances but after ordering these I received a message from George and he helped me right away. Great service! Super happy with everything so far. Will definitely be returning for anything new in the future l.
Shipping is horrible. They placed (2) drum kits, (2) brake kits and (1) wheel in the same package without any rigid support between the components. Upon delivery, a brake drum with a chip where the seal is installed and one brake kit was almost disassembled. Studs in the backing plates were dislodged due to hitting other parts. Your best bet is to order everything individually or at most in pairs if you don’t want damage. Package was so heavy, UPS driver basically rolled it out the truck. Have not installed so can’t comment on quality. With so many bad reviews on packaging, one would think it would be addressed.
Step by step shipping updates were fant astic
just picked up today, product looks great, as described. One tang on one lock washer was broken off upon delivery, but not a big deal. Fast delivery to Blaine for pick up.
Thanks to help from Ashley, all the components I ordered were a perfect fit for adding brakes to my boat trailer. Since I am pulling my 18' runabout with a minivan, like feeling the trailer brakes kick in during stops. Hopefully they do not turn into a maintenance issue but since the majority of the time I am launching in fresh water, optimistic they will provide years of service.
Installed on a cargomate 6x12 enclosed. It all (brake kit and drums) just fit, and now they just work. As advertised. No issues.
