Ordered these as future spares for the sets of marker lights I installed a year ago while overhauling my boat trailer with other parts purchased from etrailer.com. Lights work great and are extremely bright at night - a big plus!!

by:

Good service good product

by:

I ordered the Thinline LED Clearance and Side Marker lights, rubber grommets and lead wires from etrailer.com to replace the lights on my trailer and I am very happy with my purchase! The lights install easily and look great as you can see! And the light assembly is sealed to prevent moisture from getting in! Make sure you order 2 wires with each light because they plug directly into the LED assembly - the ground connection is not made through the body of the light. Thanks to George and Nicole for their help!

by:

Be advised that if you use some of the marker lights, such as the A91 & AL91 series, they require smaller than standard plug-in pins. The normal sized electrical plug-ins, will not fit. These wire whips with plugs address that problem perfectly. Be sure to use plenty of di-electric silicone grease on all connections that will get submerged.

by:

Product as described, offered at a reasonable price.

by:

Speedy feedback on question and service was GREAT. Light functioned better than original! Great doing business with a company that actually cares about who they sell to! Will spread the word!

Side marker lights, basemount and wire were the exact replacemnt parts I needed for my Stratos boat trailer. My order was filled and shipped in two business days. I will definitely shop etrailer.com for any future parts needs.

by:

I recently purchased red reflective lights for my boat trailer. Price, service and fast delivery time are outstanding. There is no need to waste time, money and energy trying to find items locally. Just let your fingers do the walking on-line to buy quality products at a reasonable price. Carl Milligan - Kinston, NC

Prices are always great as well.

Bought a new brake controller and updated all the lights to LEDs , all parts are good quality. Would recommend etrailer

by:

Thank you for a quality product in a very timely manner!

by:

Redoing lighting on boat trailer, using new model of marker lights. Perfect fit

by:

Amy was very professional and knowledgeable about the product. She also went above and beyond by making sure the product got shipped out overnight like I asked. Thanks again.

by:

The cover over the plug at the end made it a bit too thick for my trailer and the pre drilled holes. Took some work but managed to pound it in.

Works fine beyond that

by:

The marker lights I ordered for the side of my trailer along with mount and plugs work great and install easy.

by:

Everything fit and worked like it should, very happy with the service you provided. If ever I need trailer lights again Ill definitely keep you in mind!
Thanks,
Rob

by:

  • Wire Gauge for Single 12" Wire for A91 and AL91 Series Trailer Clearance, Side Marker Lights
I went out to the warehouse and pulled a single wire plug # A91LW to determine the wire gauge used. It is an 18 gauge wire so very small and thin. This is because it is designed for trailer light applications that do not draw a lot of power so a larger gauge isn't needed.

  • How Does Optronics Clearance Light MCL-91AK Wire to Two Wire Trailer
You'd wire the # MCL-91AK by using the bracket the part # A91BB and the single wire part # A91LW. You'd run the power for the light to the single wire and then run the ground wire you have to the mounting hardware of the bracket as it is designed to ground through it.

  • Is Female Plug Available For Single Wire Male Plug For A91 And AL91 Series Trailer Lights
The single wire plug # A91LW is designed to plug into a light that has the female plug already installed on the back of the trailer light. The # A91LW has a 12 inch lead wire with the male plug attached. Many of the Series 91 lights have two female plugs which would use the standard 2-prong wire like part # A46PB. If you use a self-grounding bracket like part # A91BB for a series 90 or 91 trailer light, the single wire # A91LW can be used.

The Optronics Thinline Submersible Red LED Clearance and Side Marker Light # AL91RB installs using a base, part # A91BOB in black or part # A91OB in chrome finish. A 2-wire pigtail # A46PB will allow for electrical installation. The white wire on the pigtail is ground. If your original light used only 1 wire then its base provided the ground connection. In this case you can use the self-grounding base # A91BB in black or # A91CB in chrome finish. In this case you will use Single Wire #...

  • How Does Clearance Light Included with Trailer Light Kit part # TL16RK Wire to Trailer
The clearance lights of the # TL16RK are the part # A91AB with the bracket part # A91CB. The assembly grounds through the mounting hardware and the single wire part # A91LW that comes with it runs to the running light circuit of the trailer like you mentioned.

  • Optronics Amber Clearance LED Clearance Light Recommendation
If you are looking for a replacement clearance light for your trailer you are going to want to use an amber bulb like the Optronics Trailer Lights # AL91CAB. A white bulb would not be a good choice as a a clearance light, since in most cases it is required by law that you use an amber or red lens. I attached a review video for this product for you to check out also. You may also be interested in a Black Mounting Bracket # A91BB and an Optronics Wire Plug for the AL91 Clearance Lights...

  • Could Optronics Amber LED Trailer Turn Signals be Used as Motorcycle Turn Signals
The Optronics Trailer Light # AL191AB that you referenced would make an excellent turn signal for your motorcycle. The LED diodes are very bright and should provide you with very visible turn signal. The chrome bezel to go along with it would be the Chrome Mounting Bracket # A91CB. This product would normally ground through the mounting bolts, but since you would be mounting this in a fiberglass bag you would need to ground it using an Optronics Single Wire Ground # A91LW. Yes, the Thinline LED Clearance and Side Marker Light - Submersible # AL91AB will work with your single power wire, as it uses a 2-wire (one for power, one for ground) pigtail or 1-wire pigtail with a self-grounding bracket. To mount this light you have a couple options. The first is the Mounting Bracket # A91BOB with Right Angle 2-Wire Pigtail # A46PB; you'd also want to use the Self-Tapping Screw # 1131832. • Replacement LED Taillight Recommendation for 2002 Shoreland'r Profile 2000 Boat Trailer
We do indeed have some LED taillights that'd work great on your boat trailer. I'd recommend # STL57RB for the driver side and # STL56RB for the passenger side. These lamps measure 6-1/16 x 2-5/8 inches, and would work well on your trailer. As you can see in the photo provided by one of our customers, the taillight works well on a Shoreland'r trailer. As long as they're still working okay, you certainly may leave the existing fender running lights in place. If you decide you want to replace...

This is an amber light that measures 2-1/2 inches long x 1-3/16 inches wide x 7/8 inch deep. This light requires the # A91LW pigtail to complete the wiring and a mounting bracket. The bracket is available in black, part # A91BB. For a chrome finish, use # A91CB.

  • Looking for Boat Trailer Clearance Light to Replace Signal Stat 1500
According to my Optronics representative, the # AL91RB marker/clearance light you mentioned is a direct replacement for the Truck-Lite 15 series. The Signal Stat 1500 is how Truck-Lite refers to the same lamp in its LED version. A mounting bezel is available, part # A91BB for black or # A91CB for chrome plated ABS. If either one of these self-grounding bezels is used, use a # A91LW pigtail. If a non grounding bezel or bracket is used, a two wire pigtail like part # A46PB would be needed.

  • Replacement Boat Trailer Clearance Light with SAE P2 91 DOT on the Lens
The number on the lens that you see is the lens rating, not a part number so it is difficult to go by that number. There might be a part number on the back of the light housing. Otherwise it would be easiest to go by the dimensions of the light. For example light # A91RB does have the same lens rating. It would use a base such as # A91BB and wiring harness # A91LW for the power wire.
