Video Transcript for Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters. They're available for passenger vehicles, with part number TCMA1. That'll work with wheel sizes between 13 and 20 inches. They're available for light trucks, with part number TCMA 2. This will work with wheel sizes between 14 and 24 inches. Finally, they're available for heavy duty trucks, with part number TCMA3.

These will work with wheel sizes between 15 and 24 and a half inches. These rubber adjusters are designed to work with most Titan Tire Chains. They're going to give you the extra tension you need to make them nice and snug around your tire. They stretch for constant tension, providing a tight and secure fit. Our rubber adjusters attach to the center ring here, which allows it to maintain tension even if one arm breaks. Our attachment hooks make it easy to install.

We'll go ahead and show you that now. We've already got our Titan Chain installed, and as you can see, it's a little loose. Which, is a common problem. That's what our Titan Rubber Adjuster is here to fix. You'll want to be sure that the hooks are facing away from the tire. What we're going to do is go ahead and start by hooking the top.

Then, we're going to go directly across, hook the bottom, and then just work our way around. As you can see, it's already starting to tighten up that cable. That's what we want. Now, after you've got it installed, you can go ahead and put one on the other side. Once you've got them both installed, it's a good idea to drive a short distance, and then stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make further adjustments to your chain. That's going to complete our look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters..

Received just in time for a big snow. Installed on 32" tires on 15" rims. Had to bend open all of the hooks because they wouldn't hook onto the chains, but I think that's ok because I don't think they are made for the type of chains I have. Only used once, but they did their job.

Great addition to the snow chains. They performed great along with the chains while using in snow mountains roads

This is the 3rd set of chains I've bought from eTrailer, the first 2 sets were for my work truck and this most recent purchase was for my personal truck.

I work as a delivery driver and bought the first set of chains because i don't have a lot of say which snowy/icy roads i deliver to. Being a work truck the first set of chains got abused a bit so when they finally failed it wasn't unexpected, but up until that point they were nothing short of perfect.

So far the 2nd set for my work truck is going strong (with a bit more effort not to abuse them as much).

This 3rd set is for my personal truck and more for peace-of-mind than anything else, i doubt they will see more than extremely rare use but i have no doubts that they will work as well as i expect them to.

I have not yet taken advantage of the "customer service" from eTrailer since every single thing I've ordered has been received and worked exactly as expected. Communication regarding my order and shipping has always been excellent and even better than i expected. Shipping has been super fast and I've received my products days before i thought i would.

***the picture included isn't exactly the best but you can see the chains and conditions that day (that truck is about the worst vehicle for driving in winter conditions)... also those chains are a different size but they are the same chains.

Ordered tire cables for my 2013 Ford Focus. Looked great but were a bit loose. Got the TCMA1 & it really snugged the cables well. The rubber straps are really strong and require a lot of (my 78-year old) muscle, but they give a really solid grip on the cables. Hoping I don't have to use them but they offer peace of mind, just in case. The staff at etrailers was very helpful. Thanks folks.

by:

Nice binders. They work well the chains I purchased for my 20" wheels.

by:

Excellent price for a wonderful product. The chains constantly fell off the snowblower before installing these multi-arm rubber tire chain adjusters and
have had zero problems since. VERY HAPPY!!

Comments
Awesome! Absolutely no problems and we have had a lot of snow this year to test them out!!

by:

These are nice, but they were ordered in Nov. before winter I received them in late March after winter. You should have sent others for the same price.

by:

Product is very good quality and heavy duty. They arrived prior to the snow and on time, which is always a plus. Great company to do business with.

by:

These are a great upgrade.great price

by:

Great product, fair pricing, great customer service, and all of this while getting them across the country, on time, during a massive storm system. The adjusters work perfectly. My chains came included with a tensioner integrated into them, but these adjusters: a) make the chains fit much better (even with the integrated tensioner), b) are super easy to use, and c) are pretty cheap for how much better they make the chains work. They install in literally seconds and guarantee a tight fit. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

by:

Good quality should work well for my chains . Fast shipping!

by:

Very fast shipping..excellent product…t hanks…

Have not used Tire Chain Adjuster. Might use it in Mid October. Also snow chains.

Great price, quick delivery, perfect delivery notification. Well done all around.

ATV tire chain tighteners. Rubber, not springs. Good design, and should last if rubber formulation is good. Won't rust. Good price.

Comments
Front chains will not fit my Polaris ATV. Hits the shock.

Product looks good don't it don't look like old rubber just wait for the snow storm to come try to product out and I'll give you 5 Stars once I see how well it do

by:

They worked exactly as described and worked well.

by:

Haven't had to use them yet, thankfully, but they test fitted perfectly

by:

Just received the chain tightening adjusters and they look heavy duty. I will let you know when I use them and how well they worked.

by:

Strong and durable.

by:

Customer support was able to help me with the correct chain adjusters.

by:

made chain tight and stayed on thanks.

by:

Just what I ordered

by:

I bought the multi-arm rubber tire chain adjusters to go with some chains I just bought on sale at WM (post winter). Although, I hope I never need to use them, up here in the Northwest, you don't want to be crossing mountain passes in winter without chains on board!
They arrived quickly and the communication (and price!) from etrailer was great. I recommend these guys.

by:

Work great but unfortunately they are on a vehicle which sits from November until April, unless it snows and I need to plow and the rubber stretch part of tensioner rots and cracks up and then breaks (am guessing from constantly being exposed to sun light). Normally go thru two pair a season because of this and different brands have no effect on longevity.

Ask the Experts about this Titan Chain Accessories and Parts

  • What is the Difference Between the TCMA1 and TCMA2 Tire Chain Adjusters
The difference between the # TCMA1 and # TCMA2 is the size and type of vehicle that they're designed for. The # TCMA1 is designed for passenger vehicles with wheels between 13"-20", where the # TCMA2 is designed for light trucks and SUVs that have wheels 14"-24" tall. There is no difference in quality, just a difference in the size and types of tires they're used on. If you're using these on chains for your 2014 Toyota Prius c, you'll want to use the # TCMA1.

  • Will I Have Any Issues With The Titan Chain Cable, Part # TC2029, On My 2021 Toyota Highlander
After taking a look at your question, the only gap I can see that is 24" would be the front and back of the tire. Will there be a gap on the tread due to the tire increasing in size? Yes, there will be. However, it is not a big enough gap to cause a problem with the effectiveness of the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Steel Rollers - 1 Pair, part # TC2029. With regard to the 24" gap across the wheel face and the rear of the tire, there is a tensioner on both sides...

The Glacier Cable Tire Chains, part # PW1046, are confirmed to fit the 225/60-18 sized tires on your 2018 Subaru Outback. With an 18 inch rim you definitely want the # TCMA2 adjusters even though the size range for the # TCMA1 says they'll fit. You'll have a much easier time installing and using the # TCMA2. With that being said, unless you're planning to never really use the chains and just want them to be legal in an area that requires them I recommend upgrading your choice from the...

I recommend the Titan Chain Adjusters, part # TCMA1, because they're designed for up to 20 inch rims and have the multi-arm design so it one fails you still have more arms to hold the cables tight. In order to get the correct fit of tire chains on your 2021 Honda CRV FWD to make your Colorado visits stress free, I had to do a bit of research to discover the factory tire sizes on your tires. I found out that the most common factory tire size for your model is 235/60-18. In order to know if these are your tires, I recommend checking out the numbered size on the face of your tires. The Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Passenger Vehicles # TCMA1 will work great on your 295/40-20 tires. While the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC1034 'technically' don't need chain adjusters or separate tensioners, I highly recommend them.
