The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.
To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.
A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and side marker light.

Great replacement for the older fixtures of this same type with incandescent bulbs. I replaced 4 old style lights on my Zieman ATV trailer with these LED units, and NOW you can see me.
Light only lasted 4 months, very disapp ointed.

I needed to replace some of the lights on my boat trailer. The old light were incandescent and some of the bulbs had burned out, securing screws were rusted. Product was exactly what I was looking for. Links on each product web page provided very good description and product information.

It is very bright, fit right into the existing holes I used for the old lights and wiring it up could be easier! Have yet to dunk it in the water but I'm sure it will be just fine! Great Product!

A bit disappointed the full function of tail light does not work. With only a year and less than 400 miles on trailer since tail light was installed.

Excellent product, Easy to install and electrical hookup. It replaced a busted LED tail light. I leave my trailer lights plugged in when I launch the boat into salt water and have had no problems with the light malfunctioning. Very good light.

Robert M - 10/02/2019I like the quality. Delivery was a bit slower than I like but it came in time. I was happy to be able to buy just one light as opposed to a whole kit. Some nice person hit my trailer broke the light and kept going. I replaced the one, unfortunately they are not a complete match and this replacement is not as bright as I like. It's going to kill me but for now I have mismatch lights with a less bright one. :(
Great upgrade for my 25 year old motorcycle trailer. Looks great, works great too.
The LED trailer lights truly do make a world of difference. The only thing that I do have to say that is not a positive, is the fact that I had to drill out my mounting brackets on my trailer so these would properly fit. In other words the factory holes on my trailer did not match the aftermarket product. As far as the LED light visibility goes, again there truly is no comparison. The LED lights rock
I live out from a very small town in Idaho and have come to rely on buying from the internet. I've been ripped off and have lost money. Not so etrailer.com.
The part was an exact fit, identical to the original exactly as described. It was delivered on time. Price was very right.
But what really impressed me was the way it was packaged for shipment. How often do we get stuff crushed and ruined? This light assembly was like triple wrapped and boxed for a train wreck. etrailer.com rocks. I won't shop elsewhere.
The light installed easy enough. Functionally, it worked great. However, two times into the water and it failed. I had to buy another light locally for a trip. I'm disappointed since the move to more expensive LEDs was suppose to eliminate all the poor reliability of incandescent bulbs. I guess not. :-(
These lights were a great replacement for the old lights on my boat trailer. The lights bolt patterns matched up perfectly for a good fit. I couldn't be happier with the product or the customer service from etrailer. Highly recommend to anyone considering buying replacement lights.
Super tail light! Easy replacement for stock tail light. Took me about 10 minutes to install including soldering leads. I always solder because crimp on connectors always corrode on a boat trailer. Had I used crimp on connectors, would have taken 5 minutes. The LED is bright and easy to see even in bad weather.
Just a replacement for a light that was broken during Winter storage.
