Simple box that does its job well. I mounted it on the tongue of an open trailer by welding on a crossbar and bolting the box to it. Box holds ratchet straps as well as some spares for the race car. Finish has held up well so far, though I have it stored indoors. 738017
Product arrived boxed well complete with two keys inside. I like that the box is casketed and it looks good as well. I did not like the gas strut that holds the door open (I agree with several reviewers, it really held the door from opening completely) I removed the strut right away. Over all, very please with the tongue box and I expect that this will hold all my towing-tie down needs. I would buy this again in the future should the need arrise. 714379
The box seems to be built out of quality materials but the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired. After I got the box mounted to my trailer I realized that the lid was not attached properly to the box as you can see in the pictures. It is about a half inch too far to one side and the lid will not latch closed. There is no adjustment in the latch mechanism either. I will either have to return it to etrailer or fix it myself. It looks like I can drill out the rivets on the hinge, slide the lid over to center drill new holes and rivet the hinge back on. This might be easier than returning the whole thing. I should have inspected it a little more closely before I installed it. 434134

I bought this box for a very specific installation: inside the dovetail portion of my car hauler trailer to keep straps and other misc things in. I have a set back jack and a winch plate so its a crowded area, but I mounted it through the sides with some angle iron welded to the frame and bolted through instead of sitting it on top of the trailer. I am very happy with it and it works great. 931449

The shape and size of these boxes fit perfectly on the A-frame tongue of my 26 & 30 foot utility trailers. Will have no problem fitting a lug wrench, bottle jack, and tie down straps right with the trailer so I have them when needed. Highly RECOMMEND! 900924

The box is decent. The finish is ok. I installed it and was satisfied with it until I went to lock the box for the first time. The lock mechanism is only adjustable in one direction (not the direction I need to adjust). When the box is locked and you operate the handle to open it, the lock lever inside moves just enough to allow it to open right up. 898583

Pretty much what I expected, maybe a little more shipping protection. Had a couple spots where the paint has rubbed off during shipping. The only other thing is I wish the lid opened to more 90 degree instead of about 60 degrees. I think I can relocate the strut location on the lid to get me what I want. I would definitely buy another one because of the price and decent construction. 861181

I’ve had this box on my trailer for a year now, it works great. I’ve never had a problem with it leaking and the latch works as good as new. My only negative would be the paint has faded a lot. But it sets out all of the time. I’ll paint it with Rustolium hammer mill at some point. I’d recommend it. 857616
