I gave you a 1 star. Major reason is your description stated that it was a 58 inch arm which would fit my unit and when it got here it was NOT. It was 3inches to short and was not as described. Plus now you want to charge me a return fee of xx plus dollars for your misinformation and sending me the wrong item. I am not happy with this company. Now I have to go out of my way to find a place to return this item.

Thank you for your reply. I have reached out to the manufacturer regarding anymore pitch arm assemblies that are 58 inches and they said they also have a part number 806585. We unfortunately do not carry this item on our site. I will email you the manufacturers information to reach out to see if they can give you a dealer that can supply this or maybe they can send it directly from their stock.

Thank you so much for the prompt shipping. Although it arrived undamaged, it was packed loosely in a much longer box allowing it to slide around and I'm surprised it did not get damaged in transit.

The product may have been correct, but was so poorly packaged for shipping that it arrived dented. We will try to make it work because it took so long to get it, but it is the sloppiest packing I have ever seen

I can help you out with how to detach the motor in order to install the Replacement Support Arm Assembly for Lippert Edge 58" Awning - Black # LC77VR. To do this you will simply need to use a Phillips-head screwdriver and remove the screw at the back of the drive head, which will allow you to pull apart the head covering. Once you do that the motor will be exposed and you'll simply disconnect the harness attaching it to the wiring.

The only light that mounts onto the actual pitch arm assembly is the Solera Serenity LED, which can only be used on support arms that are specifically fitted for it. The Replacement Support Arm Assembly # LC77VR is a replacement option that will work for you function wise, but it does not support the Serenity LED lights. I contacted the manufacturer regarding this and they informed me that they currently do not have the Serenity LED style available.
