Today, we're going to be looking at a footplate for round tube jacks. This foot plate's going to fit on your round tube jack, and it's going to help spread out the applied weight . especially on softer ground. It's going to help prevent sinking. And it's going to increase overall stability. It's made from a steel construction.
It's going to feature a nice clear, zinc finish, so it's going to be resistant to rusting, corrosion. The weight capacity is two thousand pounds. It does come with the pen and clip, that way you can secure it to the inner tube of the jack. There's going to be four pinholes on the tube here of the footplate. That way you can rotate it .. and you can have the foot plate facing whatever direction you want.
So, if you want it facing this direction . you have the pinholes that allow you to do that; and the other direction you have the pinholes that allow you to do that as well. The pinhole diameter is going to measure just over three-eighths of an inch. The actual diameter of the pin is three-eighths of an inch. Again, this is designed for round tube trailer jacks. It's going to fit, um, jacks that have an out tube diameter of two and one quarter inches with an inner tube diameter of two inches.
The inner tube is going to fit inside the tube here on the foot plate, and it's going to secure with the included pin and clip. I do want to point out that inside the tube there's going to be some stops in there. That's going to prevent the inner tube of the jack from going down further into the tube. The distance that we have from the top of one of those stops to the center of the pinhole is going to measure one inch. So you want to make sure that from the bottom of the inner tube on your jack to the center of the pinhole in the inner tube you have about that one inch measurement, and that's going to let you know if that's going to work for your application or not. Taking a look at the foot plate dimensions, measuring this direction first. This is going to give us a length measurement of about six and one quarter inches.
Going this direction, we're looking at about four and a half inches. The overall height . that's going to give us a measurement of about eight and three quarters of an inch. And then the actual extension that this is going to add to your jack, we can tell that by measuring from the bottom of the foot plate to the center of the pinhole, because that's our attachment point to the jack. That's going to be about seven and fifteen-sixteenths of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the foot plate for round tube jacks.

This product was recommended to me by etrailer customer service staff after I told them what I was looking for and after giving them the diameter of my trailer jack. Unfortunately, it did not fit. I had to take it to a shop that did custom exhausts to have the upper tube expanded which cost me an additional $10. Needless to say, I'm not happy with my experience with etrailer. 674817

Perfect replacement after we unfortunately left ours on while trailering. Service was great as ordered it while camping and it was delivered early after we returned home. Now we can offload the trailer! I like that it has a sticker telling us to remove it before travelling, something the original didn't have. 872388

Well made product. The foot appears to be able to hold water from rain and cause rust...so I may drill drain holes in it. 589047
