Today, we're going to review part number HTP12BK. This is the Redline Horse Trailer Escape Door Pad. This pad is designed to be use on the inside of a horse trailer. It is used to provide maximum protection and comfort for the horse. This will protect the horse when it moves in the trailer and when it hits instead hitting the bare wall. If you have this pad on the wall, it will help protect the horse.
These pads are 9 inches wide and 12 inches long. They are filled with a 2-inch foam for protection and that foam is covered with a durable black vinyl, and it uses a cardboard backing. Now to attach this pad to the horse trailer, we do offer the mounting hardware which is sold separately and that would be part number PS-8 which is a trailer horse pad screw. No screws would be used on this pad to attach it to the inside of the horse trailer. That should do it for review on part number HTP12BK..

They are a bit smaller than the original pads. I had to order a second set to basically make up the difference. They are a little pricey for the small size. I coukd not find them anywhere else though.

I am very pleased with the horse trailer divider and wall pads I purchased from etrailer.com. They are durable -still in great shape a year later.

These pads are exactly as described, easy to install and well-made. It would be nice if they were wider (higher) and came in different lengths, but a great deal for the price none the less.

These have a cheap paperboard backing. It can not hold up in the rain. I will have to get some wood and try to get these so they can hold up. The shipping carton was put together better than these pads.

- Availability of a 12 Inch Wide by 24 Inch Long Enclosed Horse Trailer Pad I have included a link to all of the trailer pads we carry below. We do not have an exact match for a 12 inch by 24 inch pad, but the closest is the Horse Trailer Breast Pad, # HTP24BK, that you have referenced which is 9 inches wide by 24 inches long. Another option would be to use 3 Horse Trailer Escape Door Pads, # HTP12BK, and turn them 90 degrees so they would be 12 inches wide and 27 inches long when mounted right next to each other.

What is going to be your best bet is to go with the Horse Trailer Escape Door Pad # HTP12BK, which measures 12" wide x 9" tall and turn it to be 12" tall by 9" wide. You can then run 4 of them side by side to get you 36" or 5 of them to get you 45". Not the prettiest solution, but it will work.

If so then you could drill a 1/4" hole into one of our pads (see below) and then use a bolt to attach them to the wall. If the holes are not threaded then it may just be best to use a few phillips head screws on the outside border to affix the pad to your divider. We do have the 40" X 9" Pad # HTP40BK and 60" X 9" Pad # HTP60BK. These are all made by Redline with Redneck Trailer Supply being the distributor for them. We also have their Horse Trailer Escape Door Pad # HTP12BK that is 12" X 9" and Horse Trailer Breast Pad # HTP24BK that is 24" X 9".
