  • Firestone Air Bag Spacers for a 1996 GMC Yukon With Body Lift
  • Since spacers are brand specific, you would need to know what brand of air bags that you have so that you can install the proper spacers. From the picture that you sent, unfortunately there is no way to be able to identify the brand of air bags that you have. I reached out to Firestone to see if they could identify the air bags and they said that even though they couldn't identify them from the picture, you could use their spacers as long as the hole configurations are the same and the...

  • Best Airbags for a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with 6 Inch Lift
  • For your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2250. These airbags will do an excellent job of helping to distribute the weight of the trailer across the vehicle in addition to helping with stability and off center loads. Now in order to compensate for the 6" lift on your vehicle, you will need to add a spacer. The correct spacer for you will depend on the distance you have between the upper and lower brackets once installed....

  • Recommended Timbrens for a 2018 Toyota Tundra with 3 Inch Lift Kit
  • For your 2018 Toyota Tundra, I recommend using the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TTORTUN4 with three of the Timbren Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles part # TA25723-90AD00 stacked. Assuming you have a full 3" suspension lift and not a body lift, this option should give you 1/2"-1" of clearance but the spring measures 3-3/4" tall so you can can always measure to be certain. Please keep in mind you will need to obtain longer M10 bolts from your local hardware store to install...

  • How to Use Air Lift LoadLifter Air Bags on a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6 Inch Lift
  • Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57538 will work on your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500. However, you don't need to use the 7500 XL system nor would I advise it. Instead, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57338. The 7,500 lb and 5,000 lb weight capacity you see is for pin/tongue weight, not gross trailer weight as the the pin/tongue weight is the only part that is directly over the top of the airbags. They will however both do an...

  • How to Determine the Correct Lift Spacer Needed for Installing Ride-Rite Airbags on a Lifted Truck
  • Since you have a 6" lift on your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 you will need a lift spacer in order for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2430 to work. The correct way to measure for a lift spacer is when the truck is on the ground without any added weight in the bed. You will want to measure from the bottom of the top bracket to the top of the bottom bracket where the airbags attach. You can choose the right spacer using the measurements attached below. • Are Spacers Needed to Install Firestone Air Bags on a Lifted Truck
  • If your lift is on the front of the truck but not the rear then you would not need to use any spacers to install Firestone air bags # F2071. On the rear, you would need spacers if the distance between the truck frame and the axle has increased. The size of the spacer is going to depend on the amount of lift. Firestone has the following: For vehicles with 1-1/2 inch lift use # F2536 For 2 inches use # F2366 For 3 inches use # F2368 For 4 inches use # F2371 For 6 inches use # F2375

  • Available Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit F2550
  • If you do not know the height added by your truck's lift kit you can measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets (without the air bag) to determine which spacer you need to fill the gap. For a 2-inch spacer use # F2366; for a 3-inch use # F2368; for a 4-inch spacer use # F2370; for a 5-inch spacer use # F2373; for a 6-inch use # F2374. If your current lift block is tapered (from 3-1/2 to 4-inches tall) you'll probably be best off using the 4-inch spacer block # F2370.

  • Spacer for Firestone Ride Rite Air Suspension Kit Installed on 2013 Toyota Tundra w/4 Inch Lift
  • According to my Firestone representative, you'll need to measure the existing space between the upper and lower brackets once the lift has been completed. Ideally, you'd see about 6 inches between the two brackets. If that's the case, Firestone tells me a spacer won't be needed. If the distance between the brackets is greater than 6 inches, you'll need a spacer whose thickness is the same as the gap. For instance, if the distance between the brackets measures about 8 inches, you'd want...

With that being said, there are people out there who still tow safely with a lifted truck so it is definitely possible. You can measure to confirm their fit on your truck. Measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets; this must be between 8-1/2 and 9-1/2 inches.

  • You can use the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2299 on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 3" lift. What you would need are the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2368; these spacers are designed to be used with vehicles that have a 3" lift so if the distance between the frame and axle did increase 3 inches more than stock then these would work for you. I've added links to a video review and install of the Ride-Rite for you to take a look at as well.

  • Lift Spacers for Firestone Suspension Enhancement on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500HD w/4 Inch Lift

When modifying the axle spacers on the lift kit, be sure to contact the lift kit manufacturer and/or the installer to determine if this is acceptable and if so, what would be the best way to do so.
