2018 Dodge Journey
My dad hooked this up to my SUV so we could have more space when we go on vacation, and it looks pretty good. I cant wait to hook it up to my cargo trailer in a few weeks.
He seemed to have it full installed within a few hours, if that.

I ordered the wrong hitch and canceled it with in a half hour.
I did not know there would be a email to confirm the cancel,
I did see in the 10 minutes to confirm the cancel, was unable to cancel.
I asked for a return slip and was told I could not get one until the shipping label was created.
I requested a return before it shipped and was asked if I had tried to install it, I did not even have the hitch.
Was charge $[XX] was refunded $[XX].

With the video, it was pretty easy. I did it by myself. I recommend getting help to line the carriage bolts up and don’t forget to undo the plug that’s in the video. Hardest part was undoing the muffler hangers.

This is a great option for someone who wanted an easier install instead of cutting the fascia for a concealed hitch. It does hang down a bit lower than the other options but it does not scrape the ground at all from my experience. The hardest part of the whole install was getting the rubber exhaust hangers loose. It took a lot of prying with WD40 because there were 3 rubber hangers on each side of the dual exhaust Dodge Journey. Once we got it loose we kept the exhaust from hanging with jack stands however a strap would have worked just as well. Then I used a floor jack to keep the hitch in place to tighten the bolts. Now we can take our bikes to Minnesota this summer!

The quality of this hitch is the best has a nice flat plate where all joints come together with excellent welds it took me about one hour to install with the help of one jack stand and having single exhaust really helped

We purchased this T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector to wire up our 2018 Dodge Journey, along with an etrailer.com hitch. I watched the video how to install It was very easy my dad was very skeptical he thought it was going to be like an all day job. The video was very descriptive and really helped out a lot if you didn't have this video you would be clueless how to do the install. This definitely helped me out a lot I moved out of my house and sold it and build a new one and this helped us move stuff by just getting people's trailers and borrowing it so at the time this is the only vehicle I had to tow stuff with. The quality of the material is very good and the shipping was awesome too I actually got upgraded to have better shipping.

My son installed the hitch in the driveway with a few ramps in a couple of hours - yes the exhaust straps take time and you have to shimmy the spare a bit but it fits - finished product looks great

2018 Dodge Journey
Product arrived all full of scratches and some chipped paint due to the scuffs. I was going on a road trip and had to install anyways because I needed to use my cargo carrier. If it weren't for that I would have asked for a refund

I can understand your disappointment with the finish on the hitch. Sometimes this happens even when we do our best to package the hitches so that they will arrive in good condition. I know you have already installed the hitch however I recommend touching up the affected areas with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum. I will also have our Customer Service team contact you.

2019 Dodge Journey
Great hitch receiver! However packaging was minimal. Hardware came loose in box and box had holes. Luckily none fell out of package. Vehicle wiring kit works great but two of the plugs that accept original tail light wiring were poorly made, they plugged well together but would not click as the latch was made sloppy and slightly mismatched. But everything lights up and working.

Installed yesterday, in my driveway and I am very satisfied with the hitch and wiring kits, as well as the instructional videos from etrailer. The only complication was a wiring hardness mounted on the driver side read bumper cover, that I had to relocate.

Shipped fast and easy install. Wish the wheels were an inch or 2 wider (for bike rack) to better support fattire bikes. But still solid and holds well.

2019 Dodge Journey
Very great product, easy install on a 2019 journey. Only pain was dealing with the exhaust hangers and limited space to get to them. Had it installed in 40 minutes, very home mechanic friendly and I'm a mechanic so if you have slight knowledge on cars you're good to go.

The hitch receiver was mounted by my local U-Haul dealer and has been trouble free since installation. I have pulled my 10 X 8 trailer with both cargo and my 2018 Road Glide from VA to Daytona Beach, FL a few times the past 3 years. I highly recommend this!
