Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the surface mount, warm white LED adjustable reading light with the USB port for your RV. And it's in a nice cent nickel finish. Now this reading light will help eliminate the darkened interior of your RV or Camper. Provides a nice, bright concentrated light near your bed, chair, or sofa. And you could see it as a flexible light fixture that can be angled into multiple positions.

Does offer two light settings, which would provide another level of adjustability. Basically this button here is what you'd push, and it's not a click button, you just push on it, touch it and it'll click the light. And actually the first light when you click it, that'll come in as accent lighting. That's right here behind the button, and it lights up the USB port right here at the bottom. And then if you push it the second time, it'll light up the spotlight for reading.This does offer long lasting, energy efficient LED bulbs, which will burn brighter than incandescent bulbs.

It does include three LEDs on the spotlight. Does have the USB port right here at the bottom, and will let you charge electronic devices. And you can see it's in a nice satin nickel finish for a nice stylish appearance. To install, it's a two hole bolt-on installation onto your ceiling or wall. It does include the mounting hardware and the mounting holes.

If you just turn this plastic piece, you can see a mounting hole there. And if you turn it this way, there's one over there. So they're sort of behind that plastic accent piece. Now it is a two wire design, you can see, it includes the black lead wire for power, the white ground wire. And the wire length is about six and a half inches.

Now at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some 12 volt power to show you how the button operates and how bright the light is.First. We'll get some dimensions. The light itself, the diameter of the light is right at one and a quarter inches. The length on just the light from the very back here to the front, it's going to be right at about two and one eighth inches long. This flexible neck portion from the base to the back of the light, it's going to be right at four inches. And the base itself, the diameter on the base, is going to be right at two and five sixteenths inches diameter. The light type on this is a warm white color, the color temperature is 3,500 Kelvin. The USB port right here at the bottom, it's a five volt, 2.1 amp USB port. And the power drawn at 12 volts is 1.27 amps. So what we're going to do now is I'm going to go ahead and hook up the wires, so we get our power.So we hook up our white ground wire. Hook up our black power wire, and you'll be able to see I'm going to go ahead and turn on the power. I don't know if you noticed that button right down there. If you just touch the button, you can notice the light lights up behind it, and at the USB port. And then if you touch that button again, you'll see the spotlight comes on. And if you touch it again, it'll turn both lights off. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn off the lights. Again, first button gives you the accent, and here's your USB. Touch it again, and you have your nice, bright spotlight for reading. And again, it's an adjustable angle you put it at. And then touch it one last time and both lights will go off.
