Today, we're taking a look at the Camco RV vinyl trim insert. This colonial wide trim insert is designed to replace cracked or stained trim on your RV's aluminum roof edge, trim molding, or on a truck bed camper shell.It's constructed of a really nice, durable vinyl construction, with UV inhibitors, to provide long lasting protection against the sun, so that's gonna prevent it from cracking and breaking.It's an easy installation, the trim slides into the existing metal track on your application. And, this roll is available on a 25 foot long roll. Measuring three-quarters of an inch wide. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Camco RV vinyl trim insert.

Camper trim for a 1991 Nomad 16 ft camper: I couldn't find enough info on how this product is sized on how it fits the track. I did read one question here at trailer about the 7/8" trim but not enough to answer the question was said. My old trim laid out flat measured 7/8" wide. I assumed it had swollen with age and ordered 3/4". did not fit the track on my camper no matter what I did with it. I made another order for the 1" trim and this time it fits perfect. I spent twice as much on trim with this mistake and hope someone else can use this info to order the right width the first time. I did not try to return the 3/4" trim as I had cut off a couple feet of it for the first attempt at fitting it in the track. what's important is what I learned here. if your old trim measures out 7/8" after you flatten it out best you can then order the 1" trim. I submitted four pic's, one is the 3/4" installed, did not fit very good and you can see the screw heads bulging through, will not stay seated. one pic is a short piece of 1" installed, has a nice curve over the screws and fits really well. very easy to fit in the track. One pic measuring the old trim at 7/8". middle trim is the 3/4" and the 1" on the left. Don't take my word for it but do your own measuring for comparison and order what you feel will work. I hope this helps someone else figure this out. also note the outside measurement of my trim rail is exactly 1 1/4" wide as per that one pic. That should of been the first sign I needed 1" trim, now I know. thank you

Excellent product and easy to work with! My old molding was cracking & coming apart from age. The pictures below are before and after. This is basic maintenance and etrailer helps keep costs low. One roll is plenty of material to handle my 30 ft Coachman. I recommend buying a tube a self leveling RV sealant to apply over the screws that hold this in place on the roof. Better safe than sorry! Highly recommended and shipping was excellent.

This was used to replace multiple pieces of trim installed that way from the factory. Install was easy on a warm day in Spring of 2021. It stayed in place for a 4000 mile road trip. Still looks new Spring 2022.

Bought a really old, well, '89, Chevy G20 Conversion Van...... was missing the Belt Line Screw Band Covering (around the connection tween Bubble Top and the Van). Google search lead me to etrailer.com (perfect name) Found what I needed.. IN WHITE to match... and it fit perfectly! I'll be checking for more parts soon!

Good service reasonable price and easy to order. I previously tried to use another company and their website was difficult to enter because of the mixed up letter code that you had to enter to prove you are not a robot. Tried 3 times and gave up. Cannot understand why a company would need to make it difficult for a customer to order! This is not the CIA. Glad I found etrailer. Wil continue to order from them for my RV supplies. Great company

The advertisement displayed was misleading. What was shown at the time, was not what was received. I was able to show both the add, what I received, and a sample of what I had, and how it matched their add, and not what I received. They were good on the return, and agreed with my findings. We will be doing business in the future.

Pro tip. Make sure you warm this material up and keep in warm during installation. Other wise its a bear to pop into the trim. After a year of continuous UV exposure it is holding up fine.

Well, I just it the other day, haven't installed the trim around the camper windows yet. Can't wait to see the windows when done. Happy with the product of course. Had to wait a long time for delivery. I was in no hurry for it. Over all,, I'm a happy camper

Exact fit for track. Installed with minimal effort. Product arrived in good condition and the tracking system for etrailer orders is excellent. The only drawback is color. It is close enough to OEM for my purpose.

I have not yet installed this trim, but I am sure it will fit well based on my previous experience with etrailer. This is not my first order and will not be my last.
I ordered the wrong size trim by mistake. Upon calling Pat C the next morning, she was able to located my order and correct my mistake before it shipped. A Big "thumbs-up" to Pat for going beyond normal service for me.

The vinyl trim is excellent quality and great price, and sent fast. Be advised that the beige is a darker beige and not a light off white beige. It's very supple and easy to feed into the receiving channel, making a nice smooth and rounded center over thhe screws. Make sure you install it with the right side out. I started installing with the "rounded side out" as it came off the roll but it didn't look quite right and then realized I had to flip it and reverse the concave as I put it on. It looks great!

So far so good with the new trim. It has seemed to weather better thqan the original but I have also purchased an RV cover that I didn't have before. Seems good though.
