Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Great looking trailer tire. Also, it's held up really well. I bought a set plus a spare for my BBQ trailer and it's helped take it up a notch. The little extra cost is well worth it to have radial tires and nice rims when compared to cheap steel rims and tires.
love the wheels. fast, free shipping is a huge plus on an item of this type. the tires have deep treads and i expect to get more mileage from them than the previous bias-ply tires i've used previously. this is the only site i found carrying wheels other than the standard steel white ones you see everywhere. love em!
Wheels and Tires are great, no problems after a year. 2 wheels had different valve stems, but that's it. I'm heading to the lake when I can.

Kudos to etrailer for this product's availability and speed of delivery. The rims and tires are the finishing touch on my home-built, cedar-stripped, fiberglass encased square drop camp trailer, finished with the new rims and tires just in time to be a Christmas present to my wife for Christmas. They replaced some two-ply bias tires that would not be safe at highway speeds. After thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours building our camper, I wanted to insure that my investment would safely endure the bumps and bruises of American highways. These tires, I believe, will help do that. They are also of a size that allows our scamper camper to slide under our garage door with an inch or two to spare. Any larger and I would have to let out some air. Speaking of spares, I may need to order another. Not because I'm flat, but because these tires are perfect for my needs.

I’m very pleased with these wheels and tires. These replaced the cheap Walmart wheels and 5.30-12 bias tires. Those bias tires were junk (at least for my setup). I had to replace them everything 3,000 miles. I am hoping that these will perform as well as they look! Also, the wheels are far better quality than I thought they would be. I will definitely have to touch up some trailer paint to match my purty new wheels…

EXCELLENT customer service. From order to deliver I was kept informed, on the location of my wheels.
After the delivery, it dawned on me I needed a third wheel for the spare. Well, of course not in stock and on back ordered. I was notified right away on how long it would be, based on an estimate from their supplier and even offered a substitute that would fit. I declined the substitute and chose to wait. Glad I did because like the first order, I was kept aware of the status and it turned out to be only two plus weeks.

Great wheels I got two of these to upgrade the tires for a 40x48 trailer.
If you are looking for an update I would suggest to go with this.
I wish they would have put the stickers on the back of the rims as the stickers do not come off clean.
