Only took 20 mins to install it with 4 bolts and it looks good. My dog also enjoyed the box. Lol
Easy to install hitch receiver, 4 bolts and done. Took longer to gather my tools than to install it. 4 stars because it came scratched, arrived fast, looks great too.
Great product and installation videos. It all went as shown in the videos. I did it myself without a lift. Used something to support the hitch then lifted one side at a time to fit bolts loosely in place then tighten all four. Will have my mechanic torque bolts to 115 lb. Connector socket with bracket installed exactly as in video, but I didn't have socket for drill to start self tapping screws, so I drilled holes slightly bigger to start them. Worked great after with ratchet. Connected trailer...lights not working...so I guess I need to make a trip to the Jeep dealer to re-flash computer, whatever that means. I'm 72 and did it myself. I've purchased lots of so called bolt on parts. This is truly an easy bolt on part. Couldn't be more satisfied.

I pull my trailer to many art festivals and hitch is as secure as ever. I keep the plug waterproofed with Dielectric contact grease.
Great, easy installation with simple direct instructions. Has been holding up well.
I ordered this hitch and wire harness on a Tuesday and received it on Friday afternoon. etrailer does not sit on the orders, your products are shipped exactly as stated. I ordered the 75699 hitch receiver for my 2017 Grand Cherokee. It arrived in two days. The fit was perfect and took about 30 minutes to install. I connected the light fitting to the factory wiring harness. That took another 15 minutes. Perfect fit all the way through. I saved over $200 compared to a quote from the local hitch shop.
I got the hitch and the wiring connector in fast and I was able to install the hitch and the wiring connector in less than 30 minutes. The instructions were simple and so was the installation. I only bought these because of the great videos on etrailer.com. I wouldn't have thought it would have been as easy otherwise. I used my floor jack to place the hitch up in place and it fit perfectly. I torqued down the bolts per the instructions and the wiring was a breeze too. I did it on my own and easily and quickly. Mine was a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, not sure how other models will compare. Great price, hitch and quick delivery.

Excellent! the product is very well constructed. I installed the trailer hitch with the Curt T connector (wiring harness). The installation took approximately 1/2 hour. Easy install. A special mention for Tommy C., he couldn't be more helpful. walked me through the whole process, answered all my questions and processed me rather quickly. Bought this as a Christmas for my boyfriend - he loves it! Was very easy for him to install himself. Used it all year towing our boat and utility trailer and it handles like a champ. He loves how when the hitch isn’t on it is tucked away under the truck, but he had to get an extender for it so it doesn’t scratch his bumper. Overall, he loved it so much he bought one for his brother this year for Christmas

Easy Installation to a great looking finish.
Glad I took the time to research the vehicle specific photos and videos on the site.
I almost bought a tubular model hitch that would have hung lower and been highly visible.
This Draw-tite square frame model hides behind the bumper nicely.
Used a jack to make it a one-man job. Very happy with the look and the service. Parts arrived 3 days early with great email communication. Thanks etrailer.

2011 Jeep GC- Installed with ease! Looks great! My GC had the trailer wiring under the bumper so I purchased the 7 pin / 4 pin connector and it was plug and play. Finished with a Jeep OEM cover. Thanks etrailer!

If I can install this, anyone can. It was so easy. I think it took me longer to take it out of the box. It took me not even 20 min to install by myself. Solid constructed hitch. Came with instructions. I have a 2020 grand Cherokee altitude and the tire iron fit the bolts for the hitch. So if you do not have a 21mm socket use that.

Since I had the hitch I sold my Jeep and bought a new one. Took off the hitch and reinstalled to new Jeep. Super easy. Works great. Only issue is that the paint in the front of the hitch has chipped a little showing some rust. Other than that it is great.
Excellent product, fit perfectly and is hidden very well, 10 minute install, Carla and etrailer provided fantastic customer service and hitch was delivered earlier than expected. Would definitely make another purchase from etrailer.

Still a fantastic hitch, no problems after one year of use!
The hitch was very easy to install. It was so easy in fact, that I installed it myself. I used a plastic bin to help prop the receiver and keep it elevated while I installed the bolts. The bolts on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee took 21MM socket. There were 4 bolts that took a bit of elbow grease to loosen. I then used a torque wrench and tightened the bolts to 115 foot pounds as specified in the directions. It took about 15 minutes. I plan on using the hitch receiver with a bike rack. Is what was expected, however, the package was pretty beaten up on arrival.
The components were all still there….but, was plenty of opportunity for things to have gone missing.
Not as much a reflection on etrailer as UPS.

Bolted in easy...was a 20 min job. Well thought out, right into factory Holes. thumbs up
Bolted right on without any modifications to the vehicle. Nice fit and finish, haven't had a chance to put anything heavier than a bike rack on it but it looks like it is super secure and heavy duty enough to make the towing claims believable. Literally took 15 minutes to bolt on and most of that time was looking for my SAE sockets.

Just installed this hitch on my 2016 Laredo Grand Cherokee. Ordering this item cost me less than half what it would have cost to order from the factory and have installed at dealer. It looks fantastic!
I like that I do not see any of it except for the hitch itself. No bar hanging down like the the ones that trailer rental place sells. I see on a lot of Grand Cherokees around here. I will update this review after the heavy use this hitch will experience over the spring and summer hauling various boats and accessory trailers.
Mine did have minor paint damage (pictured.) No big deal.
One thing to remember is that you need to go up to the dealer and have the computer flashed to recognize trailer lights if you want to tow a trailer, and that cost $50 at my dealer.
This hitch fit my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee perfectly, exactly as the Video on ETrailer showed. Took me about an hour to install it myself with the help of a sturdy floor jack. The hardest part was pulling the 115 lbs of torque on the 4 bolts, but at 66 years old, I call it a victory to get that done. The trailer light module was also purchased from ETrailer and it fit perfectly, mating with the factory connector already mounted under my vehicle.
Very easy to install 2017 Grand Cherokee. Literally 4 bolts. Also purchased a wiring adapter that you can see in pics that has 4 and 7 pin all in one. Both from Draw-Tight so the hitch had an adapter plate for wiring adapter just had to screw together. My only complaint was I did have to return a different hitch because of poor packaging and damage during shipping but this one came in way better condition.
This hitch was simple to install on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It mated right up to the bolts that were already installed on the vehicle. The fit was perfect and the powerdercoat and welding was all top-notch. I really like that they also included the tab to attach a wiring harness bracket. I ordered the Tow-Ready 4-pole bracket kit at the same time and it fit great on the tab.
This hitch fits great on the Jeep too. The hitch is nearly invisible aside from the receiver itself. I also like that the receiver sits back underneath the bumper so its unlikely that I will smash my shins on it when loading or unloading cargo.
The only minor issue I encountered during installation was some thick seam-sealer on the vehicle body keeping the aft holes from aligning. It was just think enough to prevent the hitch frame from sitting all the way up between the frame rails. I solved this by putting my hydraulic floor jack under the hitch and pressing it up just a few millimeters. This brought the mounting holes into alignment and the bolts then went right in.
Being an older Jeep, in New England (salty winters) I was concerned that the factory bolts might be stuck, but they came out without a fight. I sprayed them with some penetrating oil and let them soak overnight before doing my install so that may have helped some.
The Jeep dealership wanted over $500 to have a hitch installed on my new Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I bought this hitch from E-Trailer for about $137 with free shipping. I received it in a couple of days and the installation was simple as advertised. Install time is approximately 15 minutes. Remove 4 bolts raise hitch into place a replace 4 bolts.

Hitch is working out great so far! I have used it with luggage rack, bike rack, and 5x8 flatbed trailer for some off grid camping. No issues so far.
