Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the ball mount for your Stealth Hitch. So this is going to be an accessory to go with your existing tow package with that Stealth Hitch. You can get that bundled together to get all the accessories that you need to tell your trailer effectively, things like your safety chain loops and the hitch or the wiring bracket. So you'll want to make sure that you have that towing package if you don't already.

And this, again, is going to be an accessory to that. So this is going to let you adjust the height for your ball mount to make sure that everything is nice and level between your towing vehicle and your trailer. The reason why you want to do that is to make sure that you don't have any issues with that set up being kind of pointed up in the middle or pointed down. Can cause some steering issues, a rougher ride, and things like that. So you want to eliminate that as much as possible and make sure that everything's nice and level.This is going to be a fit for several vehicles.

So the easiest way to figure out if this is going to be the right one for you is to look at the chart on the bottom of the product page here at etrailer.com. It's going to list out all the vehicles that this will fit, and it tells you the height that your ball mount will sit whenever it's mounted onto the vehicle. So if you need a different height adjustment, that's what you would get this guy.So let's take a little closer look at it. It's going to attach the same way as your original ball mount. It just goes into that receiver opening and attaches with the hardware that comes with that self hitch.

We'll have our opening for the ball, the hitch ball to attach there. The measurements that go with this guy, that hitch ball opening is going to be an inch in diameter. The total length for this is going to be 13 inches if we go from the very back to the very front. The attachment length or the distance from the center of where it attaches to your Stealth Hitch to the center of the ball platform, that's 10 inches. And then the base thickness here is about three quarters of an inch.

So should be an easy way to switch out that hitch height to make sure, again, that everything is nice and level for your setup.As far as other accessories you can get with this, a hitch ball is going to be the most likely thing. If you don't already have one, there's some options there to match with a couple on your trailer. And then there's also a carrying case that you can get so you can carry this towing ball mount as well as your receiver. That way you can keep everything nice and tucked away together, protected and all that fun stuff. It's going to have a welded on gusset there to give it some more strength, and nice black powder coat finish, so it should resist any kind of rust and corrosion.
