The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

good looking hub. Races are already installed so that was nice.
I was told the hub I ordered would fit my trailer but when I received it the set up was for an axle with a 1” diameter axle and not a 1.063” axle which I have. I had to order another hub.
Install was easy, I just wish it came with a cotter pin. I had to run to HomeDepot.
There was a problem with the initial order I received and it was promptly handled by the polite and helpful customer assistant. These parts worked great for a single bike takedown trailer.
It worked as expected.
These hubs worked great. I had to add the spindle nut washers to get good engagement between the spindle nut and cotter pin. I would definitely buy these again.
The hub was very easy to install. The only problem I had was installing the wheel bearing hubs. It took many tries to get them on.
The right parts first try
I wanted to change from four lug wheels and tires to five lug type on my boat trailer. Towed trailer,loaded with fishing gear,fuel tanks, extra motor. and batteries from central Pennsylvania to Fort Peck, Montana and back. The trip was uneventful. Other than the fishing....it was GREAT!

I have ordered from e-trailer twice. Both times they provide excellent service! Parts arrived amazingly fast!! One order had a damaged part, I called and got a very nice sales rep. Parts were replaced FREE. I will deffinatly order from them again. I ordered hubs, wheel and tires, and light kit for my boat trailer. All parts are good Quality.
these are great hubs. my trailer had tiny 4 bolt hubs and wheels and these fit perfect on the 1" spindles and allowed me to run a much taller tire. even comes pregreased with plenty of grease
Ordered two hubs, only one arrived. Second tracking number says it was never picked up. Now I have to wait 8 days for an investigation before I can get a replacement part. Upgraded the shipping so I could receive and work on trailer during the holiday break. No blame, just stating what happened.
Hubs went on without any trouble. Only tricky part was to get the caps seated into the hub to trap the grease. Haven't used the trailer yet, but don't anticipate any problems. Shipping was awesome. I ordered with standard shipping and the box was on my porch the next afternoon.
I initially ordered a pair of hubs from another online retailer That I has used prior and whom had mine "in stock". They didn't. After 5 days of no shipping info, they notified me they were back ordered. I cancelled the order.
I ordered a pair of these hubs from etrailer.com on 6/2, George notified me on 6/3 that they shipped and I received them on 6/6. That's customer service.
Price, availability and delivery. Every online retailer should strive for this level of attention..

The hub I ordered for my trailer worked perfectly!!!!!! The customer service is unreal, from fast shipping to constant checks(personal emails) to see if item had arrvied on time, truly a professional company that puts their customers above all. Not only is the product exactly what we needed (the dust caps are a little on the lightweight side) but Matthew was extremely helpful in getting me the parts I needed to fix my trailer!

Hubs not made by dexter and not made in US. No reason to pay extra for these over other Chinese hubs. Would have returned but etrailer was slow to ship and I was leaving for a trip and couldn't wait.
I am just starting on a restoration of a 40 plus year old motorcycle sidecar and the hub and wheel that I ordered are perfect for this project. I will try to send pictures on completion, probably a few months out.
