Today we're going to be taking a look at the CargoSmart adjustable dual track brackets for E-track and X-track system. Part number is 348-1728. These adjustable brackets do a great job of getting any square, rectangular style items up off of our floor and up, stored in a safe area. As you can see, they come up, attach into either E-track or X-track, whichever one that you have.For E-track, you want to make sure it's a horizontal type, so that means your slots are going to run up and down here on the outside. But outside of that, this will be fully adjustable width and length. So this is going to go from where it's at now at its smallest position.

Then by turning that, we can bring that out a couple of inches. We'll get specific measurements for you once we get the toolbox off there.Also at the end of the arm. if you want something to go up and over, they've got an accommodation right there so you could put a strap in there and not only use the provided straps to secure it in, but also one to hold it down if you choose.Now to hold whatever item you load up in place, we're going to have our buckle here. Buckle's a polymer material, it's nice and heavy duty. I don't think you'll have to worry about that ever breaking or anything.

And then the strap itself is going to be a polyester strap, has a smart web technology, so it's very abrasion resistant, shouldn't have to worry about any issues with it for a long time to come.To give you an idea of usable space that you've got inside of the bracket, from the base here to the top of the rear arm, got about eight and a half inches. From the base to the top of our forward arm, that's going to be about an inch and three quarter. From the backside here to the front side in the smallest or narrowest position, we're looking at eight and three quarter. Once that's opened up, we're at 10 and three quarter. Now in this extended position, from the surface of your E-track to the end of it, we're looking at about 12 and three quarter, and in its smallest that's going to be about 10 and three quarter.Now we've extended our strap out all the way and you'll notice even with them about 40 inches apart, we still have enough strap length here to get out to the end of our support so you can really put pretty wide items in here and get them nice and secure.

Now as far as your installation process is concerned, it works just like any other year E- or X-track accessory. You've got your tab here, it's a pull in. You want that larger opening to go up in the track, tilt the bottom in, release that handle and then just slide it straight down. It's going to have that clicked in position. We'll get another one set.

Do the same process for that.Now there is one thing you want to keep in mind when doing this. Each one has the strap coming out on one side of it. The one on the right, you want the straps to come on the right, the one on the left, you want it to come out on the left. In our case, we're going to load up the tool box we have here around the shop. Get it positioned in there. We can bring our straps around and secure it. All right, I have that in there nice and securely for us. Let me just pull on each strap, get it secure, and at that point we won't have to worry about it going anywhere.And that will complete our look at the CargoSmart adjustable dual track brackets for the E-track and X-track systems, part number 348-1728.
