This cable-actuated RV waste tank valve has a 72" long cable, allowing you to easily open and close the valve even when it is positioned in a hard-to-reach location. Simply install the valve between your RV's sewer pipes and mount the handle on the end of the cable in a convenient, easy-to-access place.
When you're ready to dump your black-water tank, just pull the handle to open the valve. And when you're finished dumping, just push the handle back in to close the valve. No need to crawl under your RV to access the valve itself.
Before getting started on the installation, you'll want to empty your RV's black-water tank and flush out the sewer pipes. This will help to ensure that your working environment is as clean as possible.
This waste valve is designed to replace your existing valve, which should have a hub end and a spigot end. After removing the old valve and flanges, lightly coat the outside of the new valve's spigot and the inside of its hub with ABS solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the open ends of your RV's sewer pipe. Then, insert the smaller spigot end of the valve into your 3" pipe, and slide the larger hub end over the pipe on the opposite side.

We are full-time RVers for almost 19 years and "etrailer" has always delivered items needed quickly and correctly. This last time I ordered an item, it was the wrong diameter gate valve. I thought I was ordering a 3" valve, when it turned out to be a 1 1/2" valve. I called etrailer, explained the problem, and they IMMEDIATELY sent me a 3" valve. We can now continue our travels knowing that my problem has been corrected. Thank you Bob for helping me out.
Works great, just put a bit of Sil Glide on both sides of the seals before you slip them in to help your sanity and end results.
And route the cables properly and they should give you years of great service.

Great replacement to our lousy 5yr old Valterra gate valves. Highly recommend getting the Bristol gate valves! They don’t leak and they open & close with very little effort...
This new valve replaced the OEM ( Keystone) because after just 4 years it seized up. There was no way to replace the bell end that went into the tank so amazingly it was identical in size to the old and fit in perfectly with no leaks. The cable inside is a solid drawn piece of steel so it pulls and pushes way better than the old(which is a cable similar to a bicycle brake or shifter cable), thank goodness for an industry standard on the size of the valve because it usually doesn’t happen this way.

Still working like new a year later.
Excellent valve. Received it quickly, exact fit, easy install. Been using the valve for over a year now with no problems.
Replaced all the remote valves on my camper with these. They arrived on time, fit perfectly and operate smoothly.
Works great. It actually is a very versatile part where you can pull on side off if you didn’t want to cut the pipe. I wished I had video the process.
